The caravan had everything you need for a relaxing break. and everything in the van was clean and tidy, James and Emma have taken over the running of the site, and were on hand if any problems. Outside you get a parking space and a picnic table and a large free area in front of the van. overall the site is beautiful, peaceful and very quiet, possible not the best place if you are looking for an all action site!. and the sound of the nature at night. 10/10 will be back again

A caravan and campsite in a really beautiful setting, some great views from some of the pitches. Toilets/showers/washrooms all plentiful and kept very clean. Plenty of open space in the camping fields - lots of room for kite flying. A very well looked after site run by a great couple. Book in plenty of time as it does get full during the school hols. in the summer. Well located - the nearest beach is about 2 miles away.

Quite a steep walk down so to get back you can get the bus from the old train station. The 555 stops at the entrance to the park. This bus goes all the way to Bodmin. At the end of the field is a Tescos. The toilet and shower blocks are spotless. Grounds are well maintained. Children's play area. Dog field.

The kitchen also prepares the food for any bar customers that want a meal. The weather was still lovely so I sat out on the covered decking and had a lovely chicken burger to go with my pint. As the name of the site suggests, there is a river running along the side of the site and it's a pleasant place to walk the dog. The children have a games room with a pool table in it and coin slot entertainment machines. The toilet and shower block is very well kept and the pitches are all well spaced out. Welcoming very friendly, rates very good and the site facilities are perfect for a campsite. Little social club with amazing home made food at great prices. Take away facility. Swimming pool. Little shop for necessities. Definitely will be coming back. Great location and a small walk from the park and ride into Plymouth city centre, and a 2 or 3 min drive to the A38.

It is situated up on the cliffs above the small broad haven beach, the otherside of bosherston lilli ponds. Its has so much charm and beauty. A couple of seconds walk and your on the nation park coast path and greeted by the most wonderful views, the best in wales along side the views of the preseli mountains as reviewed on this site. It is near millitary ground st Martins, but they are hardly ever using it, there is a little station box on the coast path that if it was in use would have a barrier down etc. But this is never the case. The campiste has a basic toilet block with 3 toilets for each, but no showers. This is no problem realy and olny adds to the natural and rustic charm. And having the sea so close, your always in it, so a salty wash is always best!, But if a shower is in need of, there is a shower around the back of the toilet block in the national trust car park that is just over the hedge to the campsite. This is a only cold though and meant more for a rinsing after being in the sea. The owners who own the most stunning farm house and out buildings that have been converted and can be rented, are extremly friendly. and do regular checks of the campsite and facilities. They walk past, give a wave, and have a chat. A realy friendly family ortientated place. One time i was there, there owner made me stop putting the awning of my camper van and made me watch the setting sun with him as it dissapeared over the disstant horizon. Perfect! The views are breath taking.. and the campsite at night is beautifully quiet.. This really is heaven! hearing the sea crashing, and watching the stars that are mega mega bright above, whilst sat in the doorway of the awning with a drink in hand and haveing a good chat with friends!!! yep, sure is heaven!

We were totally shocked when we arrived at out holiday caravan for our four day stay. A 10 berth caravan for the two of us with TV, DVD player, CD player, microwave etc etc. and, more to the point, clean. As I have said, surrounded by trees and greenery. It was great, at dusk, to see the bats flying around and, as a special treat, a flypast by an owl one evening. I cannot comment on the bar, swimming pool, restaurant or entertainment as we didn't use any. However, a quick view into the covered swimming pool, it looked really nice. a small but well equipped camping / outdoors shop. has…read moreeverything you would expect to see including hiking boots, waterproof coats, torches, camping stoves, sleeping bags etc. it is only a small shop so dont hold vast amounts of stock, however most things are available within just a couple of days of ordering. there is a fitting room for you to try on any of the clothing. price wise it is reasonable. most things would probably be cheaper if you went to a learger town, but then once you add the fuel costs and parking costs etc you arent really saving anything.
