First impressions, on driving in, was of the greenery surrounding the caravans. Tranquil and…read morerelaxing. Very friendly reception with everything sorted out within minutes. We were totally shocked when we arrived at out holiday caravan for our four day stay. A 10 berth caravan for the two of us with TV, DVD player, CD player, microwave etc etc. and, more to the point, clean. As I have said, surrounded by trees and greenery. It was great, at dusk, to see the bats flying around and, as a special treat, a flypast by an owl one evening. I cannot comment on the bar, swimming pool, restaurant or entertainment as we didn't use any. However, a quick view into the covered swimming pool, it looked really nice. Been staying here for a good few years now over August Bank Holiday, using the camping and caravan…read moreclub field with the Birmingham district association. A good site with ample facilities, I'd highly recommend it to caravanners and campers alike. The site has a pub where you can go of an evening to relax and have a drink, with a decking area for those who enjoy sitting outside. Also the road access to the site is good, and not too narrow which can't necessarily be said of some in the area. All in all, well worth a visit.

Perfect base for Treyarnon, Constantine, Bobbys, Mother Ives and Harlyn Bay, very nice circular walk if you like walking. All Beaches suitable for families and Dogs. Camp site perfect for visiting Tintagel and Boscastle and also for those who wish to go further afield, Eden and Heligan Gardens. There is as hop on site which caters for all food requirements, Heated pool, on site bar with quiz nights and bingo nights. 10 mins walk into St Merryn where there is a good quality fish and chip shop, Chinese, pub and restaurant (The Olive Tree). Dogs welcome also in the Pub in St Merryn. On Site restaurant is quite expensive but food was very good
