I had rated AFS a 2 star due to an unfortunate follow up experience with a less than helpful customer rep who could not explain clearly why the car's surface felt strange. Turns out the ceramic coating doing it's job properly was the reason for my concern! It was unfortunate the rep blamed the environment, missing an opportunity to promote the positive aspects of the ceramic coating. I was able to schedule a 2nd follow up visit to address some items previously missed in my service session. I have to hand it to Mario, my initial service rep, who stepped up to provide great follow up and made sure all my concerns where taken care of to my satisfaction. Mario's acknowledgment of my previous questionable experience and his attention to make it right made a world of difference. If anyone plans to visit the Midtown AFS facility in the future, definitely ask for Mario! As I commented in my previous post, the overall quality of the ceramic coating work was fantastic!

They called me the next day and notified me that they found out it was double layered 20% and limo in top of that! No wonder we couldn't see anything out of the rear! So they said I could just pay half the original quote for the removal of the limo layer and keep the 20% layer that was already on there. They could have easily milked this for full quote and I never would've known they didn't even put on a fresh 20% layer on! Great looking shop as well! I also noticed quite a few friends of mine follow them, and that made me trust their work even more. I recently inquired about getting ceramic window tints and PPF for my whole front end. I've had the same work done on a previous car elsewhere, but I was not happy about the job. I had mentioned this to Tammy whom assisted me throughout this process. She reassured me of their products they use, their craftsmanship, and they even offer 10 year warranty on their PPF. The service took about 3 days and Tammy was extremely communicative throughout the entire process. She was very informative and prompt with getting things done from start to finish. We went over the car before and after the service, and she was a real beauty! I'm so happy I chose them and how well they took care of my car.
