I trust her implicitly with our care. She is caring and attentive, and makes me feel like I am the most important patient to her-even when there is a full waiting room. Now that I am no longer of age to have children, I continue to see her for hormone management. Oh-and it bears mentioning the brand new office was just completed in the last few months and its stunning!!!

Would give this terrible "doctor" zero stars if I could, but that's not possible so I'm forced to…read moregive him 1 star. He is so rude and lacks basic bedside manners and sympathy. He was trying coerce me to get my tubes tied after my second child because I struggled with English and I was having a c-section. He is a sly and shady man. God bless the doctor of my baby who said this man is messing with you and not to let him force me into getting unnecessary procedures, it was then my husband knew that the deranged Dr.Theodore Lyle Goldman wanted more money in his pocket by taking advantage of vulnerable people who struggle with English like me and God knows how many others. Unfortunately, the story does not stop there. When it came time for me to get my stitches out I was in so much pain and could only communicate through my husband which the Doctor thought was funny and completely dismissed us both. I was in noticeable pain and distress from how he was yanking the stitches out of my stomach. When my husband got upset and told him to be careful or give me something for the pain, this despicable excuse of a doctor stated "she's being dramatic". So much for "Do No Harm". Such a terrible and saddening experience to look back on during what should have been a beautiful time. This happened to me a couple years back and I was a patient at Northwell Health- Huntington Hospital and I was given Dr. Goldman randomly because it was last minute. I saw him in a magazine getting some type of flashy award and it brought me great pain remembering this story which I felt I must share now for other people who could eventually fall victim to his predatory business practices. Please stay safe!

Dr. Zapantis and his entire team are truly amazing. From day one, I have felt welcomed, supported,…read moreand genuinely cared for. After experiences with larger fertility clinics where I felt like just a number, this office has been completely different -- here, you are treated like a human being. For the first time in this journey, I actually feel happy instead of stressed. Everything has been so smooth, organized, and seamless, which has made such an emotional process feel manageable and even hopeful. What truly sets this practice apart is that Dr. Zapantis personally performs all procedures himself. He takes the time to answer every question thoroughly and even draws diagrams to ensure you fully understand your treatment plan. He creates individualized plans for each patient and works closely with you and your spouse to make sure everyone feels comfortable and confident. He has also been incredibly flexible and accommodating with my husband's work schedule, which has meant so much to us. Because this is a smaller practice, nothing feels cookie-cutter or like a one-size-fits-all approach. Every treatment plan is truly personalized, and you can feel how much thought and care goes into every decision. Everyone here goes above and beyond -- you never have to worry about being left waiting for a phone call or email. Communication is prompt, clear, and reassuring, which makes such a difference during a process that can otherwise feel overwhelming. Priscilla is always quick to respond and so helpful. Joyce is consistently kind and welcoming every time we walk through the door. Sandra patiently answers all of my questions, reassures us, and even gives me a hug when I need it most. Kim and Susan have also been wonderful to work with. The entire team is knowledgeable, compassionate, and truly makes you feel like family. Fertility treatment can be an emotional journey, but this office makes you feel heard, supported, and cared for every step of the way. I am so grateful to be under their care and highly recommend them to anyone navigating infertility.

Dr. Tuchman was the first gynecologist I had ever seen, I saw her between the ages of about 16-18…read moreand I will never forget how bad my experiences were when going to my appointments. Even over time they never got any better. It always felt like she never genuinely cared and just tried to see me as quickly as she possibly could. She would constantly talk to me in a very conceded, condescending manner, was very cold, and made me feel dumb for expressing my concerns or asking any questions. She would also roll her eyes whenever I experienced pain during my exams... I am now 21 years old and have finally gotten an answer for the issues I had been having (and expressed to her) ever since I was 15/16; I was recently diagnosed with stage 2/3 Endometriosis and had my laprasopic surgery about a month ago. My Endo symptoms severely started around 15 years old, and whenever I would express my concerns regarding them to Dr. Tuchman she would gaslight me, tell me "you're fine it's just your period", "everyone has bad period pain", "there's not much else I can do", "take tylonel", and just didn't seem to care about getting to the bottom of my serve pain at such a young age. I will NEVER forget this one particular appointment where she was judging me and even started to lecture me in front of a nurse in training for having marks on my chest, telling me that "whoever did this to you doesn't love you. this isn't love". Please keep in mind I was 17 years old. It makes me sad to think that I could have been saved of years of pain (and fearing the gynecologist) if a doctor believed me and took my symptoms with as much seriousness as I did. We also always used to have multiple issues with the insurance, waiting extremelyyy long to be seen, and the girls at the front desk were not the friendliest. She honestly just totally ruined going to the gyno for me at such a young age. I was already nervous enough with it being my first time. When I tried going to different doctors I was genuinely so scared- and quickly realized that it should be a comfortable and friendly experience, where no questions are dumb and I can speak up about pain. I have finally found and been with an amazing gynecologist who takes her time with me during my exams (40 mins minimum), makes me feel extremely comfortable, assures me that there's no such thing as "dumb questions", and takes the time to talk with me; she is so sweet and personable and genuinely caring! I wish I could go back in time to 16 year old me and never step foot inside this office and find a doctor who would have taken my pain seriously and just be nice.

She never gave up on me even though it was a rough road and she always changed treatment protocol til we found the right one. I also love the nursing staff, especially Fran, and both nurse practitioners. Complaints are that the finance department is next to impossible to get in touch with, and when you are first starting they have a tendency to cancel appointments. We were delayed getting started because they canceled my husband's sperm analysis twice. They also just raised their prices which I think is pretty disturbing since it was already expensive enough. Thanks to Dr Safier talking to finance I was able to get 30% off one of my cycles but they were rude about it and just said "we won't be doing this again." 5 stars for the medical team but one star off for finance

Unfortunately through my fertility journey I have been to multiple practices. Island fertility is…read moremy last (and was hoping final) clinic on my long journey. First let me start with Dr. Trivax who is absolutely AMAZING! Unlike my previous doctor, as soon as outcomes were not as expected he left no stone unturned and did additional testing to identify an underlying issue that was the KEY to exactally why I have struggled so long with secondary infertility. I can't say enough great things about him. However the FINANCE DEPARTMENT is BEYOND HORRIBLE!! It's such a SHAME such great doctor staff are supported by such a poor performing finance department. I don't know how anyone there still has a job. My initial retrevial I almost missed starting my meds because it took almost week to get in contact with someone and get the issues resolved. It's close to impossible to get someone on the phone unless you raise all h*ll and call the office non stop leaving messages with every other department. Kudos to the nursing staff whose other main job is trying to get finance to call back patients. Additionally, after I did all my due diligence they are trying to tell me I have significant fees due AFTER I had the procedure done. Which they are now willing to "see what they can do and discuss with doctor" because ya, they dropped the ball informing me of these fees prior to procedure (mind you they even have a call with you prior to go over all fees you will be responsible for). And again, after I did my due diligence to ensure what my expected out of pocket would be for back to back retrievals they call me MID CYCLE to inform me oops that I owe fees and want to make me aware before I start my cycle.. but they are notifying me day 4 which is no where near before the start of a cycle. If you are between facilities, I strongly urge you to do your homework and due diligence as you will have nothing but headaches with the finance department which unfortunately is part of your journey. Thanks for taking the time to read and best of luck on your journey!
