There is no new patient paperwork to complete which is a huge plus!! Staff is friendly and helpful. Wait time after check-in is minimal. Exam is thorough. Dr. Few explained his findings to me so that I understood what was going on with my eyes and then at checkout I was given an informational sheet to take home that contained this same information so I can reference it in the future. Very pleased with this first visit and I will be returning if the need arises.

Making the appointment was so easy, I called and spoke with a friendly receptionist who was so patient taking all of my info and was able to get me an appointment just two days after my call for a non-emergent visit. I also noticed there was an option to book appointments online which is also helpful. Their location is easy to find with plenty of parking. I was seen promptly when I arrived and had no wait for neither a tech doing initial work up nor the optometrist. The office is incredibly clean and spacious with up to date equipment and furnishings. Dr. Spencer Boozer is so knowledgeable and explained everything thoroughly during my visit and sent me with several contact lens samples to try out before committing to ordering any one particular brand (which they will ship free to my home, so that's one less errand to have to run!). There was no pressure to purchase glasses or contacts, but Dr. Boozer did inform time that they are happy to price match from any reputable source for contacts and they did have a great deal going for sunglasses. Checkout was a breeze with no surprise costs or fees. (I opted for the $32 option of skipping the traditional dilation in favor of the optomap retinal scan and it was worth. every. penny.) Overall, I felt like my time was well respected and that I received the attention I needed to my eye care. I look forward to my next visit!

Dr. Bryan Boozer is good. Boozer Eyecare Associates has…read moreapparently declined in the last couple of years. Communication with patients has become very poor and confusing. Waiting room times have increased. Glasses; frames and lens, have always been expensive at Boozer Eyecare but seem even more so! Wait times to see a glasses technician can be long and waiting for eyewear may take several days. Boozer Eye Associates has the aggravating aspects as described above but the lack of respect for patients at the insurance and payment desks is the poorest aspect of the group for myself and other patients I've talked to. I will be using a different eyecare group in the future.

I really like Dr Shaw, but she only lightly touches on my health concerns. Never does she say,"I'm…read moregoing to research this and try to find out what is going on with you." Instead, you're seen and sent off to a specialist and forgotten until next time you get to your appointment and pay another copay.
