birthday photos! this was the night BEFORE my birthday (like 4 hours before 12:00). i was informed you needed to be 21 to enter, but because i was going to be 21 in a few hours and was simply getting birthday pictures, the staff was kind enough to allow me to take images. they even let me sit in a really cute fancy spot for my pictures! obviously this is the first bar i had ever been to, but immediately loved it! the staff were extremely friendly. it was clean and so so pretty! all the customers there seemed very friendly as well! now that i'm 21, i will definitely be visiting again. thank you guys for making the last night of 20 the best for me!

Their handcrafted drinks are so good! Beautiful bar. I will definitely be back! Love the vibes here.

Ambiance is great and drinks are delicious. Great new spot! I love the decor and very clean for a bar.

drinks are good, they're a tiny bit pricey and service can be a bit slow when they're busy, the decor is super cute inside.

My friends and I were looking for a late dinner spot in the downtown Ft. Myers area after roller…read morederby last night. Coincidentally, I had just added a few new places to my Yelp collection from my "Wagyu burger" search moments earlier. Sip & Sizzle was on the list. It didn't disappoint. We got in w/o a reservation on an off-season Saturday night. Service was excellent. Drink menu was fun. Lots of yummy concoctions at fairly reasonable prices. But it's the wagyu beef that I can't stop thinking about today. We got the hot stone, where you basically finish cooking your proteins on the stone at your table. I was a little under-confident about this, but our helpful waiter Cody promised he'd be there to help. It wasn't needed. Unless you don't know how to cook or grill at all, I suppose. The Wagyu was out of this world. I had tuna as well, which was quite tasty potatoes au gratin were outstanding. And a polenta, which was good even better with the garlic butter on it. Cody recommended the right sauce for my proteins. I'm glad I asked this help on that. I was a little worried the menu was somewhat confusing overall as related to the stone, but in the end, my bill was very reasonable for the top-notch experience and delicious food.

The margarita was average. The spinach and artichoke dip tasted watered down and lacked much flavor. Almost like frozen spinach that hadn't been drained properly. We ordered the Italian sandwich, turkey club, and a smash burger with truffle fries. The Italian sandwich was the only thing that was completely finished, though the polenta side was okay. The smash burger was a disappointment, especially because our son normally devours burgers, and most of it was left behind. The truffle fries were also not worth the extra $3 for the small tin. The turkey club was underwhelming. Unfortunately, when everyone at the table leaves food behind, not because they're full, but because they simply didn't enjoy it, that says a lot. I was really eager to try Sip and Sizzle, so it's a shame that our first experience wasn't better. Based on lunch, it's probably not somewhere we'll be returning to.

For those who have been to Trader Sam's at Disneys Polynesian Resort…read more... Picture that, but less theatrics. Ie Great Vibe, same style tiki drinks, the menu book is fashioned in the same leather bound style... I actually took a break from my phone and watched the bar tenders make the drinks.. The very definition of unnecessary pretension!…read more This pretentious place doesn't belong in Bonita Springs. More like 5th Avenue Naples. It would fit right in down there. I live right around the corner from this joint. I was riding my bike past when I heard a band playing inside. They sounded fun, so I walked inside to see the band and to sample their cocktails, since I had never been inside before. I was alone. A few seconds after entering, an employee asked me "How many in your party?" I said, "Just me." The employee said "Follow me." and escorted me back out the front door! Turns out there was a wait list for entering! For one person? There was plenty of room inside the joint for one person to enter and enjoy the music. There was no call to have a solo occupant on their every first experience inside this place to be escorted out 30 seconds after going inside. That's the very definition of inhospitable! If I had been in a party of 2, 3, 4, 5 or 8 people, I would have understood having to wait outside until there was room. But I was by myself! Not only that, there is a large patio in the back of the place for overflow, but instead of letting their waiting guests sit back there comfortably, the owners of this place prefer to have their customers line up like cattle outside the front door like it is trying to be Studio 54 or some urban night club with a fake wait list. I have never been escorted out of a bar before, especially to create the illusion the place was more popular and too busy to accept a single person when there was A TON OF ROOM INSIDE. It was extremely annoying and totally pretentious. I won't be going back to this place, ever. Not hospitible in the least! Negative stars, if it was possible.

If you're in Fort Myers and want to feel slightly cooler than you actually are, head up to Skybar…read more We went there with one mission: watch the sunset. The plan was simple -- rooftop, drinks, beautiful sky, dramatic sunset moment... you know, the whole Instagram vibe. Well... the sun had other plans. It was so cloudy that the sunset basically said, "Not today." But honestly? We didn't even care after a few minutes. The drinks were excellent, the vibe was great, and the whole place had that perfect rooftop energy where everyone is just relaxing and having a good time. Even without the sunset, the view and atmosphere still made it totally worth it. The service was also great -- friendly, fast, and patient with us while we debated important life decisions like "one more drink or two?" So no, we didn't get the sunset we came for... but we did get great drinks, good service, and a really fun night. 10/10 would come back -- and maybe next time the sun will decide to show up.

We had a drink or two, then ordered the Mediterranean Plate for a starter. It was a great spread, with a lot of humus, plenty of pita triangles, tzatziki sauce and other veggies. We continued on with Beef Skewers and Bai Buns. The buns were nicely zingy and delicious! The beef was tender and cooked to order. The bar...and while rooftop, is hopping, and the vibe is lively and friendly. Apps are 1/2 price during happy hour and some house/well drinks are discounted, but we opted for our favorites. Definitely a great place to watch the water and sunset.

It was giving "living room comfort meets cocktail bar energy." At one point, we got up mid-drink to play Connect Four and Jenga like it was adult recess, and no one even judged us. Major points for that. The drinks came out fast and tasted like someone behind the bar actually knew what they were doing--not too strong, not too weak, just right. Goldilocks would be drunk and impressed. I heard the Sunday before there was a DJ who had the place absolutely rocking. We didn't catch that party, but honestly? Even without a DJ, it's a chill spot. Perfect for hanging with friends or pretending you're cooler than you are on a date. Would absolutely go back. Might even claim that sofa as "my spot" like a sitcom character.
