We moved in August, the homes A/C unit was not big enough to keep up with the home. i was SWEATING in my own house in Louisiana heat. turns out- the home had holes in the attack, there was no sub floor under the sink and a opossum would come in through the cabnit! even though we were not allowed pets..... When I tried to reason with her and move out she wasn't having it. They filled eviction on me and I don't even really care. I was SO fed up!!

In fact, they never fixed it. I had to get my uncle to repair the door so that it could be securely closed. When I called Vasseur in tears because of this, the owner was a complete jerk and made a bad situation so much worse. They treat their renters like trash beneath their feet. I moved out shortly after this incident and had to bring my lawyer with me to the office to retrieve my security deposit. They are unprofessional and heartless people. My front lawn was kept up fairly consistent except for my backyard. I believe I've only had it cut maybe 3 times since the new ownership. But, the biggest thing that outraged me was when it came down to me getting my deposit back. My townhouse is about 900 Sq ft. For 3-4 days, 2 of my friends and I moved and cleaned every crevice we saw. I even did above and beyond their checkout list. When the inspection guy came and said everything looked great, of course I expected my deposit back. One month later, they sent me a letter and a copy of a hand receipt. My deposit was $500. The letter stated I owed them a difference of 170$ for they hiring people to just repaint the trimmings, 2 doors, and the bathroom wall. Repainting the walls was definitely not on that checklist. I felt so disrespected. I've been living there for over 3 years so of course minor wears are to be expected. It's not like I had a hole in the wall or broken any windows. Furthermore, the new owners came and inspected my place several occasions before buying it. He knew the condition of my bathroom walls. My last owner didn't do such a great job with it. So over the years I've stayed there, halfway between the shower and the ceiling the paint started to chip from the humidity.
