Anubys is the most unprofessional and dishonest person I have ever met. The only reason I am giving…read more1 star is because his wife was beyond sweet when she did our engagement shoot. A month before the wedding, I texted Anubys asking if he wanted to have a chat to discuss anything and he declined. I also emailed him and texted him an itinerary of my wedding day. He claims I never sent him anything: Lie #1. The day of my wedding, as I'm getting into my wedding dress, he decides to call me multiple times asking the address of the venue and how to get there. Again, I had also sent him the address beforehand. They acted like they didn't know what was going on which could've been avoided if we would've met a month ahead like I suggested and he denied. They told my groomsmen that we were doing a "first look" which was not in my itinerary AT ALL and that wasted a good 15 minutes of the time that the groom had to get his portraits done. Not to mention that stressed everyone out because nerves were high and they were causing confusion. As I was taking my bridal photos, Anubys took it upon himself to dismiss my bridesmaids, which I never said to do. Again, causing confusion. Three months after the wedding I texted him asking for an update on where my photos and video were. He sent me the pictures promptly, but told me "the video should be done within the day." Several days later, having heard nothing, I asked for an update because he said it would be done that day right? Well he responds with "the promise time is four months." I totally understand that but why would you tell me it was going to be done that same day then? Lie #2. Then, it's time to pick up my portrait that came along with the package. He texts me asking to meet at a venue named Garza's at 6 PM. I told him that I couldn't and he sends me their office address. Later I texted saying my parents actually were able to meet him at Garza's at 6 after all and could I give them his phone number. To which HE RESPONDS saying "Of course!" Well the day comes to pick up the photo, at a venue 30 minutes from my parents home, and guess what? He doesn't have it. To which he sends me a screenshot claiming he never received my message saying they were going to pick it up and conveniently his response of "of course" wasn't there either. LIE #3. Bro has the nerve to call me and call me crazy when I have proof that he did receive the message, READ IT and DID RESPOND. He lied to cover his ass when all he had to do was be honest and say he forgot. I can respect honesty a lot more than literally trying to GASLIGHT me into something that's not true. I told him I was not happy that he wasted my parents time but I was more unhappy about the blatant lying. He told me he didn't care if I left bad reviews so here I am. Once again, my anger is all directed to him and not in any way towards his wife who was beyond professional and kind. I will attach all screenshots.

People the you know are going to come through in best of ways on your big day. You hear so many horror stories about vendors who dont show or issues with payment or unprofessional behavior. The list goes on and on. One of the most important people at your wedding is the person who captures this momentous occasion. These images will last forever and will be your window into this momentous occasion for the rest of your life. So my fiancee and I definitely sorted through many different photographers and also spent time meeting several. And in all of those meetings we felt that these various photographers had great portfolios but something that we could quite figure out was missing from the equation. Then at last we met Margaret and in one meeting we figured out what was missing. Chemistry. Margaret with myself and my fiancee in her studio and we immediate felt comfortable with her. Not because of her great packages or experience. It was because she took her time to get to know us as a couple. She made us feel as if she was a person that we could trust not as a photographer but as a friend. After several minutes of meeting with Margaret we immediately knew that this was going to be our wedding photographer and this was a decision that we never regretted. Margaret met with with wife and I before our engagement session and she really spent time talking with us about the style and way that we wanted to be captured. She helped us think about unquie places and ideas that spoke to our relationship and personalities. And she captured this absolutely perfectly. The pictures were just your typical point and shoot and hug and kiss engagment photos. They had so much style and the pictures truly told a story about us. Her cheerful personality helped us feel comfortable to be ourselves which helped create absolutely spectacular photos. So if the engagement session photos were the appitizer, then wedding photos were the main course and dessert! Margaret and her second photographer were absolutely awesome on wedding day. The showed up on time, they took their time capturing the day, but they were never in the way nor could you feel their presence. Margaret captured every photo, every angle, and every moment in a way that we could have never imagined. After viewing the photos, my wife and I were immediately taken back to our wedding day as if we were experiencing the day all over again. These are images that I will be proud to look at for the rest of my life. Margaret and Love Lee Photography are the real deal. I would recommend here to anyone not only because of her wonderful ability to capture the moment but also because Margaret is such a wonderful and stand up person to work with.

This review is long overdue, but here it goes: Simon is the sh--. Hire him if you want a talented…read morephotographer who is also a homie that makes you feel at ease on your wedding day. When our original photographer fell through due to illness, Simon was able to fill in as our backup photographer, along with his second photographer Michael (also amazing). This ended being such a blessing in disguise. Simon has very soft, romantic style to his photography, and leverages mostly film to give photos that natural softness. He was able to capture the most beautiful shots on our wedding day, and despite a very packed wedding day schedule, was able to squeeze in most of the photos we wanted. Not only that, Simon was just a total buddy and was thoughtful, communicative, and sweet throughout the entire planning process. One vivid memory that captures the awesomeness of Simon: we had a Polaroid photo station at the wedding and as the night progressed, our guests forgot about the photo station (they were busy dancing!), but not Simon -- he picked up the Polaroid camera and ended up snapping photos for us while we danced the night away, and stayed way past his contracted time. We ended up getting Polaroids photos, on top of the regular photos that Simon took, that captured the ratchetness of the night which ended up being one of our most treasured memories... Today, we have a whole Polaroid album to be able to look back on and laugh at. Hire Simon! You won't regret it.

Our wedding goals were drama-free and stress-free. We were quickly disabused of this notion when we sent quote requests to the top 3 vendors for photography and flowers and were quickly overwhelmed with the questions. Once we selected Stephanie and explained our "vision", she selected the top 1-2 vendors in each category, told them our vision and we just met with them for our comfort. Further, even though we had decided to pick folks for hair and make-up, our choices fell through and Stephanie was able to find awesome options. Finally, Stephanie also understood the ins and outs of the special venue (the Butterfly Garden at the Houston Museum of Natural Science) and helped us navigate what we could and could not do. Additionally, the reception location was initially not going to provide a tasting due to our small party (~40 people), but Stephanie was able to wrangle one, which gave us a sense of comfort we otherwise would not have had. She also helped us with set-up and coordination for our welcome ("rehearsal") dinner, even though this was initially not in her remit. During the wedding, she kept us on track and focused.
