I first went to him over thirteen years ago when I was pregnant with my son. I had pregnancy induced asthma and Dr. Foster was the only pulmonologist in Broward county who would see a pregnant patient. He took such good care of me then that I remembered him so many years later when my asthma recently reasserted itself. Dr. Foster is very kind and down to earth. He took my concerns seriously and was able to help me when other healthcare providers failed. I would highly recommend Dr. Steven Foster.

I met Dr Breit (pronounced like bright) when I was a patient at Boca Raton Regional Hospital and…read morewas in the ICU. I had major surgery and had pneumonia and other issues. He is a board certified pulmonologist and also has a speciality in critical care medicine. He had a welcoming, calming demeanor, and saw me daily while I was hospitalized. After discharge I saw him at his office for followup as I was having shortness of breadth. His staff were efficient in setting up an appointment as a new patient and also gave me some mini breathing tests. He was an attentive listener, both in the hospital and his office. He never gave me the impression that he was rushing in and out of my hospital room. This is a critical issue when hospitalized. He is well trained and respected and well known by his colleagues at BRRH. If you have any pulmonary issues, or family members develop them, I would highly recommend him. You won't be disappointed.

I…read morehad an appointment with the nurse practitioner recently, who was professional and recommended I get specific lab work done. She told me to call the office once I completed the labs, as the results might not show up quickly on their end and follow-up was important. Today, I called just to inform them that I had completed the labs--and was hung up on twice by the receptionist. I wasn't even allowed to explain why I was calling, she talk over me all the time. When I politely asked for her name so I could escalate the issue, she said, "You will never get my name from me," and hung up again. This is incredibly unprofessional and unacceptable behavior. Patients should never be treated with this level of disrespect--especially when dealing with serious health concerns. I hope the management takes this seriously because the medical staff deserves better representation at the front desk.
