For the most part, as a New Yorker, I have a hard time finding good doctors for me and my family…read more My son is special needs who has recently fought pneumonia and apparently developed asthma and it was hard to find a pulmonologist that would take his insurance. I went to another doctor in the area and it was a horrible experience from the moment we stepped foot in the square box they called a waiting area. While this facility has a small waiting area (and small overall) it was super clean, the facility was modern, the front office staff was timely and professional. They even answer emails and get back to you quickly when you have questions. Their website is up-to-date and has the forms you need so you can fill them out BEFORE you get there. The PA came in first actually spoke with us and took her time, then the doctor came in Dr. Vazquez also took the time to talk with us, etc. While the other doctor I saw dismissed us as if we were overreacting, this doctor understood our concern and agreed on labs, xrays, etc. Overall, we are pleased with the service we have received thus far.

I understand patients need to verify their benefits, but basic information such as whether the office is accepting new patients or participates with a major insurer should be communicated clearly and professionally. This treatment was successful and after a short adjustment period, it became easier to use. In May of 2025, Dr. Rajter prescribed Zepbound. Today, November 3rd, 2025, I've lost in excess of 40 lbs and feel terrific. My A1C level is normal, for the first time in over 20 years. I called Akkim for three days they had not received it, the 4th day I called the Magcala office nobody answered but a voice saying leave a message we cannot answer the phone now, we'll call you back within 24 hrs, 5th and 6th day the same. So I gave up and called for appointment and somebody answered and I cancelled my scheduled appointment.
