First let me preface this review by saying I know nobody "wants" to search for a…read moredoctor...especially a surgeon. I get it! I did my research and chose Dr Junko for my ankle issues. He was highly recommended by both past patients, my physical therapist as well as many great reviews online. Surgeon shopping is serious business. After all, this person will be operating on you. You want the best, the most knowledgeable, experienced surgeon to take on this task. But, you also need someone who is compassionate, empathetic, down to earth, approachable and personable. A rarity I know. But, Dr Junko fits my requirements to a "T". My first visit was quickly scheduled. Upon arrival, I was greeted by friendly staff. The office was huge! (Hudson office). Everyone I encountered was professional but personable. I felt very at ease. I met Dr Junko and felt comfortable right away. He listened...this is super important to me. He took the time to explain each of my options completely and thoroughly. I decided to proceed with surgical intervention. At the end of my appointment, I was given prescriptions for my post op equipment and told to call in if I needed or thought of anything else. At check out, I was able to schedule my surgery. I was able to have it done the very next day! Of course I could have scheduled further out but this was great for me. The surgery itself was smooth and I was able to go home the same day. Because of their quickness and efficiency, I was on my way home to recover already having my prescriptions for medications, medical equipment and home going instructions. I am not going to lie, the post op period has been painful but that is to be expected. Not to help matters, I had a 2nd surgery within a couple of weeks after this. So, my situation is slightly different. I also have Lupus which throws a completely different spin on things. But, Dr Junko and his staff were absolutely available, sincere, honest and helpful. I am now 3 months post op from my right ankle and right great toe procedures. I have begun physical therapy and am well on my way to healing. I am very happy with the whole process from start to finish as well as the interpersonal experiences I have had with everyone on staff. I highly recommend Dr Junko. He is an excellent physician with a great bedside manner.

Horrible Nightmare! I have nerve damage! Went in for achilles problem and now can't walk or sit…read morewithout pain, my big toe is stuck up and I have to tape it. I came home from removal of splint and incision broke open in the boot. Worst of all he just sent me to a pain management doc he never met, after saying there was nothing he could do. He said "trust me in 7-8 months you will get out of bed and it will be better". Ten months later still in pain, limping and going to PT. He gave up and quit instead of helping me fix this.His staff can't do things like send in prescriptions,call back or send documents. I have foot drop and need a brace to walk and take lots of gabapentin. Like another review I went to Cle clinic and had much better experience. Junko gave me pain,problems more expenses and a possible lifelong injury. My advice stay away from Junko he should NOT be a doctor!!!

My visit was uncomplicated, no problems just prescription refills, out within 1/2 hour. My blood pressure was first taken with incorrect technique causing a falsely elevated result. The only other time I had high blood pressure was 1 year ago at this same office for my very 1st time, also taken with incorrect technique ( I am a RN/NP). I told the person who took it when she roomed me.She replied "The doctor will recheck it". He did it properly; it was in normal range. Why should a physician have to take extra time to get a correct BP reading? What if I had not requested it to be retaken? Someone (UNLIKELY an actual health care provider) is packing the schedule.The woman behind me left angry after waiting 1/2 hour and realized I had already been there 45 min. and was ahead of her. She said she scheduled for a different day but told it was this day when she called to confirm and cleared her schedule of all appointments. She left the office angrily loudly saying "poorly run" on her way out. Technology is useful but cold and time consuming requiring scrolling through various electronic pages instead of just viewing a chart that makes sense and communicating with the patient. Today's high tech, insurance and profit driven atmosphere has little concern for "caring", (hence it's name "health care"). My time is precious too.

I…read morewaited over 2 hours past my appt time yesterday to see Dr. Sultan at the Cuyahoga Falls location. The nurse confirms that I was in so much pain my blood pressure was 170/130. Dr. Sultan did not do anything for me other than refer me to their Pain Management. I spent the last 6 hours calling nonstop to get scheduled with Pain Management. I finally got a call back and the scheduler advised me that they did not have any information on me and would need to add me as a new patient. She said they did not have any notes from Dr. Sultan. I guess it's back to the ER for me...

I received excellent care for the broken bone in my foot. But, beware...the boot they gave me was…read more$825. It is not returnable and if Medicare doesn't cover it, I'm responsible. The next day, out of curiosity, I checked Amazon. They had the exact same boot for, wait for it, $63! Beware of any equipment for which they want to charge you. Do your own research first.

I had to take my 101 year-old mother here today for knee pain. This facility is amazing for…read moreemergency care of orthopedics. We got in within a half an hour of checking in. They were able to take an x-ray. Give my mom a Cortizone shot in her knee. The man at the door I wish I would've got his name. He was outstanding. I pulled up. He greeted us at the car got a wheelchair for my mom checked her in while I went and parked the car and did the same when we exited the building what a fantastic gentleman. The woman that helped us I think her name was Trish Tricia, Dr. Tricia, who gave the Cortizone shot and spoke with us was outstanding well educated clear speaking just very kind human. My mom was pain-free within minutes after having the Cortizone shot and was able to walk into her apartment building by the time we got home.

I was willing to give them my medical records - but they did not provide me a way to give the records to them. They took ALL my personal information and then won't even see me. I am afraid I have an issue from surgery and wanted to see a doctor here in Ohio, but it seems I will have to fly across the county to original doctor?? That makes NO sense. Again - they denied me medical care - but didn't say why. DENIED with NO reason...how is that allowed? I have insurance...I have a medical need and was denied, WITH NO REASON....
