Go to this restaurant! It was the best meal we had in Brussels. I am a vegetarian and finding…read moreelevated cuisine is not easy. Every bite was glorious and my husband, who eats everything, was in love. The menu is 3 courses, but they do have other options (no need though). Also, we had eaten at restaurants that were way more expensive but not nearly as good. On top of that the owners were attentive, warm and welcoming. Seriously, if you are looking for a memorable meal go here!

I came here with my partner and his parents for dinner and we enjoyed different burgers and their spicy fish and chips- the blue cheese burger was delicious and the spice on the fish and chips were amazing. (Side note: their bbq sauce was made in house and also very good!) We didn't really get to try their beer selection and I've heard great things about their nachos, so we'll have to return! There weren't a ton of folks when we'd gone since we arrived fairly early, but it started to fill up as the evening went on. Additionally, my partner had left behind a backpack and they kept it safe for when they opened the next available day- really honest people and service! They do accept card for payment as well.

This small restaurant certainly did not disappoint. The quality of the ingredients and the thoughts given to each dish served is everything Chef Degeimbre's reputation commands - nothing but excellence. A better brewery visit is hard to find…read more From initial french like confusion about payment for beer, visit and other stuff the tour starts off with a typical belgian guy pouring young lambic in a very unconventional way into our glasses. In broken french and broken english our guide tells us the history of geuze and the brewery while we taste our samples. Beer buffs ask advanced beer questions, non-sour beer lovers look terrified tasting the beer. Very promising... The tour continues, walking through the miniscule set up for brewing the belgian treasure Geuze, and the tour continues, and continues... Well, after a very long, cold and interesting tour, focussing on really interesting andecdotes, funny technical aspect of barrel making, mold, bacteria, yeast and the price of italian made storage tanks, we end up in the tasting room again. The belgian guide pours us beer after beer and we rejoice, stuffed with knowledge and sour beer. Since most of the other visitors have left we end up with the guide telling us even more stories . He also tells us that he actually don't work at the place, he is a volunteer that has devoted his life to the history of belgian beer, lambic and geuze, and is responsible for the part of the brewery that is a museum. Respect! Best spent EUR 9 ever.

I asked for the wifi password, and the bartender told me it's the capital of Australia instead of telling me what exactly the pw is (which is cinberra). The decors here are super cute yet exotic, there are tons of traveling books on the bookshelf as well. The beer that my bro ordered for 4 euro was excellent as well. They also have seats on the patio upstairs, so it's nice when it's sunny too. There are also plenty of seats in the back as well, tho I prefer the sofa area. All the wall decor is travel-related (with photos of who I assume is the owner traipsing all around the world), and maps and license plates from all over. There's a giant lounge-y area with couches, there's seating in the front, back, and upstairs (including and outdoor area). The place is HUGE. We sat upstairs, which was cool because you could overlook the rest of the restaurant. I was advised to get the beef stew, which is a Gent specialty. It was definitely comfort food and well made, though a bit weird to eat in the summer. It came with a bunch of croquettes on the side, perfect for dipping in the sauce. Their menu also has all sorts of other random stuff like kangaroo and Asian fusion. Good beer selection as well!
