I've been in DFCS care for four years, and out of all the places I've lived, this one stands out as the best. I stayed here from age 15 to 16, and now, as I approach 18, I'm returning with genuine excitement and peace of mind. At this home, you attend public school, earn money for completing chores, and -- if your caseworker approves -- you're allowed to have your phone. But what makes this place truly special isn't the rules or the routine. It's the way the staff treat us. They care deeply about the girls here, and it shows. They don't just do their jobs -- they show up for us like family. Coming from someone who spent years feeling like no one was really in their corner, I can say this place gave me something I didn't think I'd find: stability, support, and a sense of belonging. If you're considering placing a child here, I wholeheartedly recommend it. This home changed my life for the better.
