WORST PARKING COMPANY.
I parked at 10am at Hodes Parking on E 9th St, LA with my monthly parking pass because I park there Mon-Fri.
My coworker, which randomly happened to be the one whose car was parked AGAINST mine at the end of the day originally got there at 1pm after her meeting.
The time gap difference also proved that we didn't park next to each other ourselves because they get so much traffic there is no way there would've been a space near me. Either way, we were both parked in two completely different spots.
So, both of our cars were moved from the original spots we parked in.
When my coworker and I got there at 5pm after work, I walked past her car to get to mine and notice that they were completely touching. I took a picture before I had her back up to see if there was damages to our cars. Hers is brand new.
After I had her back up I took pictures of the damages on my car.
I immediately went up to the back lot man in charge, Dario, who just looked at it and said to go talk to his manager of the lot, Frank. I went to the office and got Frank, who ignored me and took other customers payments for at least 5 minutes. When he saw I was persistently standing there he came out and walked to the car with Dario and I. Once he saw the damages he looked at Dario and said "You didn't do this... did you move the car?" (staging him to say no before he had even said anything. Dario said, "No I didn't move the car you both parked here yourselves." Which we did not. Then I claimed that it was impossible, we came within three hour timespans and pointed out where we both had originally parked. I said "No, one of your employees moved the car, it's impossible otherwise." Then Frank said "We didn't move the cars" and Dario just claimed that he "didn't remember moving the cars." They were both acting extremely sketchy and trying to target me. After bickering, I asked for an incident report or what the next steps were to complain, as well as everyone who was working that day (Frank, Dario, Alberto). He walked me back to the office to get the main office phone number. I called the office phone number at 5:20p.m. and left a voicemail. I called again since the office hours on the voicemail said they are open 9-5:30pm. No answer. I called at 9:50am to the main office line and spoke to an understanding man and explained the situation. He said he would have his supervisor call me probably around 12-1pm. I have not heard from them and it was 2pm.
Anyways, since I park there for work I drove up the next morning and Frank recognized me and grabbed the other man, Alberto. He pointed it out and Alberto said "No we didn't move the cars" using hand gestures insinuating that this was all my fault and trying to say the scratches on the center bumper were there before. He also said "There's also no way because there was no damages on the other car." I said there actually was small damages on the other car, do you want to pay to fix two cars or one? My coworker, Talia just isn't complaining because it is not severe and the front of her car is different material which didn't damage as badly. After all, her car was the one that hit mine."
I told them I was waiting to hear from the office and that I would hear back from them by that day and parked my car. I immediately called the office again and spoke to the same man who apologized when I said how unprofessional it was that I pulled up to park just then and they were still acting sketchy and trying to target me. Kindly, he said he would relay the added information over to his supervisor and I would hear from him soon.
I didn't hear from the supervisor, Dustin, so once again I called myself. He again, was rude and targeted me as well saying the damages were already there.
ALL IN ALL, you trust them with your car but if they damage it they will NOT be professional and help you fix it. They will BLAME you and not take care of the damages.
Trust me, this is my first yelp review most likely but everyone needs to be aware of how terrible the management is. read more
