I want to offer up a grateful Thank You to the benevolent overlords of Beverly Hills for gracing the hoi polloi with this fine parking structure.
Located just a few bold yet refined steps from the legendary Rodeo Drive, it allows us to park for free for a generous two hours! More than enough time to pop across the street to the Chanel store to drop $10k on a new purse and get back before time runs out - sweet!
A few words on aesthetics. The floor of this fine stable is colored a serious yet delightful Battleship Grey, which speaks beautifully to the walls and ceilings' playful shade of Venetian Putty. After you've secured your ride in one of the generously sized slots, as you reach the elevator you will find confirmation that, yes, you're in the heart of Beverly Hills by the placement of the City's logo on the wall. (Thank the gods - you're not in West Hollywood!)
The elevator delivers you to small anteroom just off the street where you can do a final check of your hair and makeup, tie, shoelaces, or what have you, before making your entrance to the worlds of wonder that await just outside those crystalline doors.
Beverly Hills - you've made it!
And when your business is complete in this center of gravity of the world's of fashion, retailing, music, film, and well, just about everything that matters, you won't find yourself fumbling around for loose change or a credit card if you've stayed longer than two hours. No, this is civilization. You can return directly to your car and from the the safe enclosure that is your steed you can calmly collect yourself before proceeding to the exit where an actual human being, there to assist you, will take any necessary payment with a smile and a cheerful 'good day'! read more
