[ENG] Okay, it had been a really long time since I ate a burger in SP and reacted like: omg! That's what happened. I took a long time to visit Z Deli because people always said the space was too small and always crowded. Besides that, there ir no air conditioning, which can be pretty annoying in SP's summer. That's why the restaurant doesn't get a 5-star rating. But going back to the delicious part of this review, the burger is truly amaaaaazing! I ordered one called Minetta which has cheddar cheese and caramelized onion. The meat was exaclty medium well as ordered and bread was slightly crunchy with a little taste of butter. LOVED IT. The pastrami sandwich was little bit dry, wasn't that into it. Unfortunately, I'm not a big fan of fois gras, so I didn't get the famous foie gras burger. However, all of my friends that tried really really really liked it. The regular fries are great! Crunchy and not at all oily :) the fat fries are good, but they get kinda soaked in the sauce, so I prefered the other ones. There's also the pink lemonade, which I thought was bit sweet since it contains "groselha", a really sweet Brazilian drink. I often go back to Z Deli, but try to go on not so busy hours or just get a take out :)

The salt and pepper angus beef patty blended with pork. Homemade brioche bun, danish blue cheese crumbles and pickled jalapenos. Then the pastrami fries that stay crispy till the end no matter that it is slathered in sauce. No surprise the lines here remain long. Perfect portion size. We started in the downstairs area, which has a small but sufficient bar, and then moved upstairs, where there was a live band performing a mix of Brazilian and American songs. The bar service was about average speed, as far as pubs go. I'd recommend upgrading your caipirinha to Nega Fulô from their house standard. There was a R$15 charge to get in, which is super reasonable with htel live band--actually, ridiculously cheap by American standards, given the current exchange rate that makes it $3.75 for entrance. Word to the wise: The bathrooms are in a sub-upstairs area from the main upstairs area (if you're on the second floor, you'll see what I mean). Surprisingly clean for an Irish pub. They also use a card system where, upon entry, they give you a card to which you'll charge all your food and drinks, and then pay at booths on the way out. Even though it was a bit crowded, the place had a very friendly environment. People weren't pushing you out of the way or anything like that, which was refreshing. I was quickly seated on a crowded, but still pleasant Saturday night, ordered the traditional, famous, classic Bauru roast beef sandwich, and received it very quickly -- almost suspiciously quickly. I was told by friends that the definition of the Bauru is meat, cheese, and pickles, but mine came with tomato also. The sandwich was terrific; the blend of cheeses really made it through the meaty-cheesiness of it all, though if I were to order again, I'd probably add a vegetable or two and try the Syrian bread. I think my sandwich was about R$40 and the Bauru can go up to R$60+ with options, which is the price I'd expect. I would come back here.
