Astonishingly large and well equipped. Caters for every single thing - even those that you hadn't thought of. There is nothing that you won't find and all at reasonable prices too. Staff are friendly and helpful and find you everything for the occasion you want and also give helpful tips that you may have missed. read more

Hobby craft is a great place for all those crafty needs. They sell allsorts in this massive store. They cater for kids doing arty things to proper craft materials and paints etc. This place is on central six which has a large carpark and is walking distance from town and close by to the train station. It is very convienient and is close to a range of different shops. The staff are always very helpful and know where things are. The store is quite large so this is handy when you are trying to find your way round for what you want. read more

Hobbycraft is part of a chain, and if you've never been you simply won't believe how wide a range of craft and hobby materials they stock. It's near impossible to visit and not spend money, and you'll find yourself hankering after tools for hobbies you've never even heard of before! There is a large range of sewing and embroidery equipment and materials, though oddly the stock of fabric itself is rather poor for a store of this size. The range of artists' equipement is also huge, and every other 'crafty' hobby is covered, from dollhouse making to candle making, from floristry and wedding-favour making to decoupage. Prices are variable - generally items are not cheap (though certainly no dearer than the local competition) but every now and then you will find a special offer that makes you ask yourself just how they managed to cut the price that much. Staff too, are variable, with some who are passionate and knowledgeable in their areas of expertise, whilst others have no interest and little help to offer. The same goes for the craft courses that are offered, some being fun and informative, others barely rising above the kids-finger-painting level of crafting. One word of warning: Parking can be an absolute nightmare at weekends and in the run-up to Christmas, and the entrance to the retail park is a bit of a bottle-neck, so plan the timing of your visit carefully. read more

Hobbycraft gives you access to craft goods that you would find difficult to get in Coventry, at reasonable prices, but beware of certain items that with a bit of thought you could fashion out of other, cheaper items bought anywhere. A good place to get fun balloons, and they will fill them with helium and provide weights, which I have found very useful in the past. read more

My sister got married in Thailand recently and we were able to get loads of things from Hobby Craft to pack in the suitcase to make the wedding more personal. We bought raffia and ribbon for the bouquets, hair pins, all the paper, cardboard and buttons used to make the individual name tags and the seating plan, and much much more For craft needs whether you need ribbons or buttons for a dressmaking project, paper or spray mount for scrap booking or making your own individual invitations for a wedding or special party, Hobby Craft has it all and there is a huge huge range of everything they have to offer. They have about 8 shelves just for rubber stamps!. Located in Central Six near the train station there is ample parking and it has great opening hours 9am to 8pm weekdays! read more

Hobbycraft is an amazing store for art and craft supplies. It is a huge store based in the Central Six retail park in Coventry. It has two levels and sells paper, card, paint, craft supplies etc. They have friendly staff who will help you if you have any problems and they have expertise in the art and craft field so if you're not quite sure what you require, they will always point you in the right direction. They offer so many different products, for someone arty and crafty it's a great shop to explore! read more

A good large alround craft superstore - but like JJB sports is a leisure store rather than a serious sports store, hobbycraft just scratches the surface for crafting. it has a bit ove ervery craft, but not much depth of anything. I find a much better range is available online. Good location in a retail park besdie the train station in Coventry .Good Parking. read more

This shop does carry quite a good selection of stock for all crafts. I nearly always find what I am looking for. Sadly I find it overpriced and some of the staff a bit miserable. I find that you wait a long time to get served. I make this my last choice and only go if I can't find what I want elsewhere. read more
