Amber in the framing department really went above and beyond to get us taken care of despite an odd request, which was a sheet of conservation glass cut to a specific size for a project too heavy to bring into the store. Perhaps corporate has heard the reviews of this location specifically and turned things around, but we've not had a bad experience here and the associates are always friendly and helpful. read more

Watch out for price scams. Love hobby lobby for quality products but after shopping here for about a year there's some things I've noticed that when I point out the response I get is "it is what it is" More often than not it's cheaper to buy individual items separately rather than in a pack. Today it was felt tip pens for $1.99 a piece but the same (ONLY) pens in a 5 pack were 12.99. I know I probably sound ridiculous pointing this out but I'm tired of multi billion dollar corporations nickel and diming me. read more

The good news is- I will Be saving a fortune not spending money on here anymore. This is not the same store from a year or two ago. Hobby lobby was my go to for everything from home decor to paper plates. It used to be affordable and provide a great selection of items to spruce up any home for any season. It is now full of toys, shirts and so many kitchen supplies... I am not Sure who they are trying to be. Prices are expensive and the sales are few and far between. My guess is die hard hobby lobby fans who used to frequent the store will be going less and less. I most certainly will be. So sad, I used to love it read more

So I read some of the negative reviews and I was prepared for a bad experience. I needed to buy some replacement buttons for a shirt that I liked. Here was my experience. The store was not dirty. I asked two people to help me locate the buttons. They were pleasant and helpful. There was only one person ahead of me in the checkout lane. It took me two minutes to pay for the buttons. The cashier was pleasant. I was in and out of there in less than 15 minutes. I did not check out the toilets so I can't say if they were clean. I wore a mask and everyone else was wearing one. My grandparents wore masks during the Spanish flu over a 100 years ago. I am thankful for that because if they had not, maybe I wouldn't be here today. read more

I like hobby lobby but the prices are expensive and the bathroom is dirty. They have a lot of great stuff there that a lot of other stores don't have so that makes this place unique. read more

I am the first to admit I am not a very creative or crafty person, but I was stuck in the area getting new brakes on my vehicle, so I wandered in and WOW, they are so much more than just crafts! They had all kinds of home decor; pictures for your walls, knick knacks for every empty space, smaller furnishings, plus everything a creative person could want! They also had fabrics for anyone who sews and offered picture framing. I was impressed and while I may have avoided this place in the past thinking it was not for the "creatively challenged" such as myself, I could now see myself venturing in here the next time I need to fill up a space in my home with something beautiful. read more

I'd hate to do this.. but I saw the pictures from 7months ago... and it seems like they still have not cleaned the bathrooms... it's was disgusting. Even the floors throughout the store look terrible. Please make sure your staff keep up with the cleaning. Also if you could add more Disney fabric that would be awesome ! I called to see if something was in stock before driving over. The woman on the phone found what I wanted, placed it up front for me and asked what else she could do to help. The store was clean and organized, busy but they had adequate staff on hand and opened plenty of extra registers. read more

I love that almost everything is on sale, now that they do not have their coupons. For as much as this store has, it is very organized and clean. Most of the time I know where the stuff I need is, but the last time I was in I could not find the artificial snow. I asked an associate and she lead me right to it. She was happy to help me and did not make it seem like an inconvenience that I asked for help. I was pretty surprised at how they almost no Christmas stuff left. Almost 3 weeks left until Christmas and everything is already picked over. I'm glad I am an early Christmas shopper! read more

My favorite store. Great prices and unique items. They carry a variety of home and gift ideas.

I think the store is great and in a good location. The manger that stalks the floors is annoying. When you need assistance, they're no where to be found. When you are just looking they pass you more than you know waiting around for you to touch anything. The bathroom is gross & could use a update. read more

My wife and I generally like HL, and are reading the book about how HL came to be what they are. Our experience at this HL today, however, was quite poor and leaves us not wanting to return. The young woman who my wife asked to help her was barely responsive and was inaccurate in where she said the product I was looking for was. Then when my wife was asked by the check out man if she found everything okay, she explained her unsatisfactory experience...and the clerk acted as if he couldn't care less. Really, HL? Poor. I've never ever been in a retail bathroom this bad. Not only is it unkempt (no soap, no paper towels) it was DISGUSTING. You could tell me this gets cleaned daily but you'd expect lying. read more

If Zero stars were an option, I'd select that! The framing department at this location is EXTREMELY unprofessional! On January 11th, I needed 3 frames for artwork but only had 2 of the pieces with me. I gave them the dimensions for the 3rd piece and received 3 ticket numbers with a due date of February 5th. I was told to bring in the 3rd piece when I received so they could verify the dimensions which I did a week later. I called on February 5th to check on my order before driving down there and was told it wasn't ready by the assistant manager because my file was marked "call for art". I told him you've had everything for weeks now and he checked and said yes we do I don't know why your file was marked that way. I was told they would start working on it first thing in the morning and I would receive a call by 4pm. I received a call and was told they only received 2 of they frames I ordered on January 11th. I said your assistant manager didn't say anything about this when I spoke to him last night. For their failure to verify receipt of all material, their customer service answer was come in and pick another frame and wait another month for your artwork or go somewhere else and find a frame. Classic!!! Never again!!! read more

I love shopping at hobby lobby on Barnes and Powers in Colorado Springs. They are so helpful and so polite. I can call on the phone and ask them to hold something for me and when I go in it's ready all I have to do is pick it up and pay for it. Bad Customer Service!!! I have worked in retail in the past and know that good customer service is to honor signage when the store places it incorrectly. Instead the unfriendly cashier that reeked of cigarettes just argued with me telling me I was wrong until I had to walk all the way to the back myself and take a picture. They're playing pricing games here at this store. There was a sign for 40% off directly above the kit I grabbed and went to check out and they rang it up at normal price. They didn't like me questioning them so they had someone go look, which was just fine with me. So, we waited...That person came back and said nope, not on sale. I read the sign, it was right above the kits I grabbed! Lol! A lady in front of me had a similar issue with an item she was purchasing. Take the signs down if you're not going to honor the sale price. Watch your receipts, friends. This is not the first time they've done this at this particular store. read more

Today while my wife was in this store the women running the fabric section terrorized my wife and children. She was rude and disrespectful. My children are already scared of mask and having to wear them around. This women running the fabric department was trying to scare my children telling them that they are going to be REQUIRED to wear mask for the next two years, in public and at school. It was incredibly inappropriate and disrespectful. This women needs to be spoken to about one her customer service was terrible and number two she needs to learn how to talk when children are around as well as learn to know when not to try and parent other people's children. Had my 20year old canvas wedding picture matted and a new phrame only paid 80 bucks!ROBERT IS THE FRAMER I would just like to say that he is the best he is so nice and knowledgeable knows what he is doing right on it even picked the mat around my picture it came out so nice I thought I had lost my 20. The manager, Erica, was so rude to us and other workers. She had us go to a different check out line saying it would be faster, but it wasn't so another worker had us go to her register since no one was there. We didn't get her name but she was very nice. Erica, however, rudely talked to the woman checking us out and put up a closed register sign, then took it down all while we were being checked out. Then she left and complained to another worker. I didn't see her once do anything except have rude comments and a sour look on her face. She should be fired read more

The store manager is horrible!!! Mark I believe is his name, is so rude! I honestly like the other staff members, they've always been nice to me, there's a couple other managers that are super helpful but the store manager is super rude and honestly seems like he doesn't know what he's doing! Framing shop does good work but to say they are mismanaged would be a gross understatement. They are UNmanaged. Dropped a print off a few weeks ago, selected matting, frame, glass, etc. Spoke on the phone and was told everything would be ready to pick up at a specific time and date. I got there to find they didn't have the frame color I asked for and didn't have the sense to call me back. So after wasting a drive there and wasting another 15 minutes waiting for an employee to help... you get the story. Last time they'll get my business. read more

I find HL to be the most organized and cleanest of the craft/hobby stores in the area. That being said, this particular store has awful customer service. I waited over 30 mins to make a return because the cashier decided to take a woman with $200 worth of discount purchases on the "refund and exchange" cash register. Instead of redirecting the lady to another cash register when other cashiers returned, the transaction kept going on...slowly. I understand it might be difficult to move the transaction to another cash register, but no one working in the store ever apologized, including the manager on the floor (she came to help with this particular purchase several times). They all acted like it was normal to wait over 30 mins in line during lunch hour. read more

Whether or not you or I agree with Hobby Lobby's policies and beliefs, they had everything I needed in one place on Saturday, so the convenience factor won out against any reservations I had towards them. Compared to JoAnn's or Hancock or Michaels where I have had to go to more than one store to gather everything, Hobby Lobby had it all. On top of that, checking out was very efficient, compared to JoAnn's horrible lines at the cashier. Hobby lobby is my addiction! This store in particular is always well stocked and clean! I cannot stand shopping in chaos. I have been to every hobby lobby in the springs and I will go to this one first above the rest! Even when they have large amounts of clearance, I can easily find anything without having to dig. Displays are put together, always stocked and clearly marked with prices or discounts. I don't know the manager, but whoever they are does a great job! read more
