The staff is wonderful-- super nice, professional. The salon is great too, it's well kept and has a nice atmosphere.
My lower rating is more for the price. I paid a ridiculous amount for the keratin treatment, which has so-so results. I've had it done in NYC before for probably half the price and better results (maybe its b/c HOB uses the safer keratin version which is great but they should lower the price if you're hair isn't going to get the same results..) I came here out of pure convenience, as I was visiting and it's down the street; otherwise if I had more time and/or actually lived in London I would find elsewhere to get the treatment done.
Haircut was fine, though with the high price they should've included it since it was just a trim.
Also, they did not mention on the phone that they offer a free wash/blowdry 3 days after the treatment; I booked my flight for that evening so I paid all that money but missed out on that part. Bottom line, if you want kertain: DON'T GET IT HERE. Way too expensive and results aren't great.
update: about 6 weeks post keratin treatment..now I'm just mad at myself for paying the absurd amount I did for this awful, awful treatment. It's like my hair didn't get treated at all. not any less frizzy, not any easier to blowdry. WHAT A WASTE. ugh I suppose for myself its a lesson learned but as mentioned don't even think of getting keratin done here, it's completely not worth it. read more
