And it was an experience, a really good one actually. Very interesting watching dodgy people state their cases and get thier just reward. Soon figured out why I never became a judge. I would have Jailed everyone for life for anything and everything hee hee. I think it would be good for everyone to sit in and watch a few sessions and see how the legal system at that level works.

We were thirsty for much more history than was given but what was given was great. Eleanor was a born story teller and there is so much more to this history than was given. The keep dates to the 12th century and the history of the castle is very interesting. The guides are well informed and fun to listen to, and there are events here throughout the year. When you finish, it's worth heading out front, putting the castle at your back and taking a walk down the street towards town. On the right, you'll see a sign for the Nice Cafe, and inside that building is the tourism office, which always has more info on things to see locally. If you go a few feet further and look left, you will find the Merchant's Pub, one of the oldest and coolest pubs in town. Grab a burger and a pint and enjoy their patio!

That derogatory sentence is just my envy shining through, envy that I'll never be commemorated in such an epic way. Rather than just being a stone likeness of a person stood unemotionally on a plinth, the Nelson Monument is adorned with noticeable details. As well as the famous signal 'England expects every man to do his duty' running around the cylindrical base, there's four shackled prisoners symbolising his greatest military victories. There's also angels, flags, a cannon, Nelson himself and a skeleton peeking out from cloth, almost certainly indicating death, the scamp. Now what can I do to get immortalised like this?
