In June of this year I purchased a 2025 FORD Maverick XL and not only do I love this truck, but am beyond pleased with the entire buying experience at Hixson's of Leesville. My salesman, Hunter, is a most knowledgeable and polite young man, and he went out of his way to explain features of the truck and to make sure I was happy driving off the lot. He kept me informed throughout the entire buying process. The management, finance department, and service department also receive the highest rating. The new truck has not needed servicing, but I have visited Brianna twice to purchase Maverick logo floor mats and bed liner. You sent my husband home with out a spare key for his new vehicle because you all "couldn't find it". You've been promising to "make it right" for literal months. I've called, he's called, emails have been sent. All with promises to call back. But we get nothing. Complete waste of time! Don't bother making an appointment. My appointment was at 815 am. I arrived at 745am to checkin. After checking in, I was told the wait was over 2 1/2hrs. I explained to the rep that I have an appointment time in 30 mins. Apparently, appointment times are not honored at this dealership. Services are first come first serve even though there is an appointment schedule online. This makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. Customer Satisfaction Program 14M02 on the Ford Focus is a scam! Ford will not fix this unless a certain code shows up when diagnosed. Your car has to be acting up on that day while at Hixson Auto of Leesville. We have owned two Ford Focus. The first one completely stopped working due to the same problem. When I received this letter from Ford, I hoped they would help extend the life of my second Ford Focus. Be prepared to pay $171.97 diagnostic fee. The letter says no-charge, but that is only if they fix it I guess. read more

Don't buy an electric car from Hixson Ford in Leesville! My wife and I purchased a 2021 Mustang Mach E from Hixson. I am a proud Ford owner and also have a rare 2001 Mustang Bullitt. I have owned 4 Fords in my short 11 years of driving. I love Ford! Our 2021 Mustang Mach E select required a simple system update (22S41). This system update was designed to prevent "possible overheating of the high voltage battery main contractors from overheating." According to the official Ford notification on the Ford app this "can result in an open contractor or welding condition." Hixson Ford in Leesville was only able to schedule an appointment ONE WEEK OUT; unfortunately, this was simply too far out for an electric car owner. After the constant back and forth conversation with Ford employees, my wife and I explained the severity of the situation. Without this update we were not able to charge our Mustang Mach E. The car would be dead after a week of use and my wife needed it for work and to drive our 5 month old daughter in case of an emergency! I'll be frank, the Ford representatives didn't care to ask what the error code was, nor did they give ANY indication of competence in dealing with an electric vehicle maintenance issue. They claimed they did not have a temporary loaner vehicle in the meantime "because other customers crashed two of the loaners." The specific employees at Hixson Ford that we spoke with were either unprepared to deal with an electric car issue or were unprofessional. It was a BIZZARE interaction. To make matters worse, we called Benoit Ford in Deridder, LA and they professionally explained the update will take 30 minutes and to bring the Mustang Mach E in the next day. read more

Took truck in running and it left not running. Tech messes up and management covers it up with excuses. General manager is rude and dose not know about fixing vehicles. Home store manager is no better. Try to get them to fix it so i can get home to wisconsin but they wont. Been stuck here in Louisana since 10-10-16.They are rude and take your money and break your vehicle and won't own up to their mistakes. Spent $3300 on repairs and can not drive truck. They claim to do work and you pay for it then find the bad parts on it still. All I wanted was to be treated fair and the truck fixed. Told area service manager would contact me and never did. All the sudden GM is never there when I call. Dallas Hixson should be ashamed of his crew on how they treat customers. You guys keep calling me two to three times a day to buy a car but no one calls about fixing the truck service messed up. read more

Sales Representative and Sales associate didn't not know what they were talking about. They loaned me a Toyota Tacoma because I showed interest in the vehicle. I took the vehicle back for the appointment to talk numbers and they added ridiculous numbers to the price. I would not recommend due to attitude and poor management skills! read more

UPDATE: After my review yesterday I went back to pick up my truck and due to the fact that I expressed my views in the form of an online review they handed me my keys and said they would not work on my truck. This is the most immature, incompetent organization I have come across for vehicle repair. I would highly suggest the military community stay away as HFD because obviously they can't run a reputable organization. Do not use their service department. I can't speak for sales but their service department wouldn't be able to diagnose a nail in the tire if they tried. I put my truck in there and outlined the issues and they didn't fix one. Unreal, how incompetent can one service department be. Hell the first time I took it in I took them for a ride and let them listen. read more

Have had nothing but great experiences. They loaned me vehicles for extended periods of time when mine was getting fixed, they were very helpful when we needed anything. Have bought vehicles and brought multiple to them for repairs. read more

Do not take your car to this service department. They never honor scheduled appointments, they are super slow, and won't conduct all the maintenance they schedule you for. Should be rated lower but it's not possible. read more

Worst experience ever in buying a vehicle! Took them two days to let me know a payment on the vehicle picked out! Please be very mindful of pictures on their website fell in love with one vehicle online, for them to tell me that oh that one is wrong the one in the pictures is going to be over $60,000.
