I had the most unpleasant experience at this Hite Photo shop. The sales person was rude and condescending. When I asked for help and advice on printing a photo he talked down to me and was very impatient. I will never shop there again. read more

Rude and overpriced. The lady in front of us was working on a project with one of the sales associates and the manager told her to make an appointment if she wants one-on-one help and to finish the project at her office, even though they were nearly done. We just wanted passport pictures for some government documents. They wanted 15$ for a set of 2. When we asked how much 8 pictures were, he just said that we would have to get 4 sets of two. That would be 60$ for 8 passport sized pictures. Not including the taking of the picture, which is 15$ each and takes them all of 2 seconds (with crappy lighting). We ended up getting the pictures digitally which costs us (including the taking of the picture) 47$. For a stick with 2 pictures on it. Now we will print our pictures at target where 12 pictures cost 11.99$. read more

1 star is being generous. A young girl assisted us. She was rather blunt and rude in the manner in which she spoke. She knew her product knowledge well but does not know that basics about CUSTOMER SERVICE. It seemed as though if we asked her questions and didn't understand her blunt answers or wanted her to elaborate, she would get very annoyed . She would then respond with an answer but seemed to get empowered by talking down to us. Her communication skills are weak and she has some personal issues. When I'm in the area again, I would not return to Hite Photo. Shutterfly or some other online company will suffice. Hite Photo needs to hire workers who not only know product knowledge but those who can speak to customers respectfully. I did call and speak to the manager of the store a few days later. I explained the situation and he didn't seem to care. read more

Hite Photo goes down as the worst printing experience EVER. The man I initially spoke with, Tom, took about a page-and-a-half of notes delineating the specifications I had laid out for my printing: he ignored all of them. Not only that, he digitally squished my face so I looked like I gained 200 lbs in my pictures. When I complained about the resolution and saturation being poor, he got defensive and started telling me all the work it took him to make the photo (news flash; if it's wrong, i don't care!). They actually ADDED red to my eyes and greyed out my whites. It was 200 dollars for 100 8x10s and 100 business cards, both of which were wrong. Hite provided poor service and were discourteous throughout. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Sorry, Tom. You should have done your job/not put the pressure pitch on. Payback's a bitch, isn't it? read more

Hite Photo was neither helpful nor accurate in their knowledge of the photo requirements for Canadian passport/citizenship photos. They claimed to know the requirements but were not willing to meet them when I presented the written documentation. They are very over priced as well. My Canadian passport photos required the professional photographer to identify themselves on the back of the photo (which they did) and also to date the photo (which they refused to do). They told me I had to date and sign the back of the photo. Both statements are inaccurate. Also, their printout had a date of April, 2015 on the back of the photo. This inaccurate date would disqualify the photos. The person I questioned about this was rude and defensive. I had to go elsewhere to get this work done correctly. I would never recommend this photo location. They act like they're doing you a favor. read more

I have worked with Hite for years and have found them to be professional and talented in what they do. There have been errors corrected but with a helpful attitude. The quality of their work has been outstanding. I read the negative views and found them hypercritical. However, some employees will probably need to spruce their skills if what I read is correct. read more

S,R, Phenomenal Experience!! I was fortunate enough to meet Ashley...who answered the phone, and greeted me when I entered the store! Ashley's people skills are EXCELLENT - she was so very helpful to me..and explained all the extra services Hite can provide to their customers! I will be going back many times, I look forward for Abbey or Elias help me..with my photo's, helping me learn how to sit at one of their 3 kiosks and use their equipment! Elias also greeted me immediately and took my VHS and within 1 hour I had 2 DVD's !!! He went out of his way, to start it, so I could have it ASAP!! I found both Ashley and Elias.. so cordial, helpful and I cannot wait to return. to get their 'Expert' advice!! I HIGHLY recommend anyone to go to this fabulous store...besides the great work they do, there are many items that they can transfer a photo to...a mug, a baby's bib,so many terrific items! I cannot remember the last time, I had such a Fabulous Experience!!!
