Didn't even see any signage. Though did see a group being led by (what looked like) a Musketeer so there must be some history here. Just behind the big cathedral so an easy add on and maybe you can learn more about it.

Sie verbindet die Altstadt mit der Elbinsel Rotehorn und dem dort befindlichen Rotehornpark. Unter der Brücke lässt sich auch bei Regen prima grillen, auf der Brücke der einmalige Ausblick auf die Magdeburger Altstadt mit Dom und Johanniskirche sowie den Elbbahnhof und Buckau/Salbke genießen. Auf der Altstadt-Seite befinden sich reichlich Parkplätze.
