Parking is in front of the government center building, and then you walk around to the back of the building and down the slight hill into the lower level of the barn. The first floor is an entryway and an art gallery, while the main floor upstairs is the general event space. We were there for a concert, so we didn't really look at the arts section, but headed straight upstairs. The main event space is beautiful; they left in the original vaulted wooden ceiling and beams, and the walls looked original as well. That said, they did a fantastic job refurbishing it so it felt classic without being run down. As a music space it worked pretty well; the stage up front didn't take up too much space, and the sound was solid. This would also make an awesome place for a wedding reception, or pretty much any party too big for your own house. Overall the Barns of Rose Hill is a great place; I would happily go back for another show, and if we'd known about it before our wedding this would have been very high on our list of options!

All party members were able to sit comfortably and enjoy the music as we went to our venue. Our driver was friendly and extremely helpful. The offered to bring along a special step for those individuals with mobility issues. Are now my go to for any future events. The drivers themselves communicated with me when they were on the way, during their transportation (we booked 2 limos), and upon returning the kids. We did have a small issue with one limo early on where the driver had to call a replacement vehicle, minor inconvenience but again excellent communication and safety standards. Also quickly and professionally provided a small refund equal to, if not greater than, the amount of time lost by the group. We needed a transfer from rural Pennsylvania to rural Virginia, and Patrick was happy to accommodate us. He communicated well and arrived precisely on time - wearing a suit! He loaded our luggage into the immaculate and very large SUV, while telling us about some potential traffic delays. The traffic turned out to not be quite so bad, and we arrived at our destination a little bit early. Patrick played excellent music, and kept us entertained with stories for most of the trip. And when we arrived, he carried our luggage to the door. And all that, for a very reasonable rate - not much more than if we'd rented a car and driven ourselves. I call them and get told cabs are about 15 minutes away. "Is one of them coming?" I got a great non-answer. "Is anyone coming?" "We can't tell you an eta." "Am I going to be stranded?" "We will be sending someone. Cabs are 15 minutes away." Then a few minutes later, they call and leave a message. "It's going to be an hour." An hour comes and goes. I call again. "We're still overbooked. It's going to be at least another hour." They couldn't tell me that in the first place? I had to call them. Never again. So, if you don't mind rolling the dice, then use them. If you like to know your ride will come at the time you booked, you may want to look elsewhere.
