This is an amazing butcher with high quality and, exceptional tasting products. We were given the…read morename of this butcher by a local and, we pre-ordered some stuff for Christmas. They were kind enough to get it sorted without having to put a deposit or anything.
Today we went to pick up the ham and it looked fabulous. English style leg of ham made by a small farmer in Salzburg area. I have had a lot of ham before and this would have to be one of the best ever. Not too salty and just perfectly smoked. I thought I was in heaven. It was a 12 kilo leg and we just got a portion of it with the bone in. They have many different meats, pates, deli items and so on here. They will order you stuff if you so desire from around Austria.
They are very friendly here and helpful. They were happy to accommodate our every need and the prices were very reasonable. We bought some zirbenkäse here, that was also fabulous. This is a special alpine pine and used in many things as a flavoring.
I would happily come back here anytime. It's an excellent quality butcher in a fabulous old building.
