We are extremely conservative financially, and we asked Jim to help us earn income on our investments (to supplement our pensions) while preserving principle as much as possible. Jim listens to his clients and is very respectful of their risk tolerances. In our case, we have a "very limited risk tolerance" and he has guided us to conservative investments that still meet our income goals. The Financial Plan prepared by Jim is extremely comprehensive. It is more than just a snapshot of where we are financially - it is a guide and a tool (along with the monthly Morningstar reports that Jim provides) that we use to regularly monitor our financial health, our progress, and make sound financial decisions. As we contemplated retirement and a move across country, we consulted Jim regarding the sale of a home, purchase of two condominiums, purchase of a new vehicle, etc. Jim was also extremely helpful in re-assessing our life insurance needs and our long-term care insurance, and he referred us to an excellent CPA. in addition to being trustworthy, Jim and his partner Luba, are ethical and just good people who we most highly recommend.

What if I made the wrong decisions? This was my future. Jim very calmly sat with me answered all my questions, drew up a plan that made me feel comfortable, one that's no too aggressive but still making money. He also gave me advice concerning Mom that would protect her and me as the executor of her estate in the coming years. It's been 5 years now and I feel better about my finances today thanks to Jim. I highly recommend Jim as your financial planner!
