This is concerning 3 visit from A & M Cooling & heaing on a 5 year old system. I paid appox…read more$125-150.00 ?? on the first visit to only be told nothing was wrong with my air conditioner. A few weeks later it broke down again. The second visit was the same thing - I paid $80 (however, laurie refunded the service call since it was not fixed). The 3rd visit the guy came out and reset the breaker and it started up again - I was charged $80.00 - he told me they were resetting the breaker because there is no problem with the air conditioner. He stated that if it happens again that he would immediately come out and show me how to reset the breaker. When it broke down I called Laurie and she normally was very nice that is the only reason I kept going back to this company but this time she was mean. I told her what the guy told me and she said he wasn't available and that they would need to charge me another fee to come out. I explained that the guy told me there would be no charge if it happened again and he would immediate come. We argued over when he would come and I knew I would not win with her so I told her the first available time - but it was just to show me how to reset the system (so that I don't have to pay them $80 every few days). I have beat myself up with going with this companty - they do not fix the problem just reset the system. I left a review that angie deleted. Shortly after review the guy called and said he was on his way - he arrived and showed me how to reset which took 2 minutes.- that I appreciate. However, if I had know they would not fix the system then I would never had keep going back - the problem was never fixed they only reset the breaker box. 3 visits - 2nd visit refunded. This guy "fixed" my AC one week ago for $353 and charged me for a hard start that he never…read moreinstalled. Our AC stopped working 6 days later and he refused to fix his mistake and then hung up on me after becoming very aggressive on the phone. We hired someone else to look at our AC and when he opened up the unit there was no hard start. I called and Preston will not return any of my calls. He had completely misdiagnosed the issue. New repair guy had it up and running in an hour. Do not trust him! He will scam you and then quit returning your calls.

We've been running a portable AC 24 hours a day for over a month along with the central air which only shuts off at night and those together only keep it to 72 in the daytime.
