First dentist there said the filling i need is not in the only crooked tooth i have, but I said yes my only crooked tooth is the one that has a cavity and she wanted to fill it. Red flag for me I requested a second dentist, after the ex-rays The lady dentist wanted to check my gums with a tool, I said I did not want that done, she said the government puts in place mandatory procedures so I let her and every prob/tooth gum was to the limit, uncomfortably and it hurt on a couple areas from her pressure. My gums are fine. they Tex me saying I needed a crown or something for like 1500 and I could pay monthly instalments. I called and said what about just a filling, oh 98 dollars. Just want the money! Recently I was trying to book an appointment because I had an extremely painful abscess. The receptionist was beyond condescending and put me on hold numerous times. She continually kept stating payment was due the day of, which I agreed to and understood. After several phone calls and be put on hold and still no appointment, I asked if I could speak to her manager. She then added in my file that I was using profanity. When I was transferred to the manager she would help me because of the zero profanity policy. I said well listen to the recordings of the phone calls as I didn't swear. The manager then stated they don't record calls, they believe the staff. If this was the last dental Office on the planet I would pull my own teeth. I ended up going to Owen Sound Dental who fit me in that day and were a much lower cost. I would highly recommend Owen Sound Dental. read more

BEWARE! Bait and switch! We called in April in regards to 2 cleaning appts we had in May wanting to wait until we knew we were covered. They cancelled our appts and said they would call us back to rebook when they had it all sorted. And they DID! They called us back and rebooked for 8 and 9 this morning. We were told they had sorted everything for the new Government Senior's Dental Program. We drove 45 minutes to get there and after I questioned if seeing the dentist after the cleaning (which they had already scheduled for me) was covered told it was not their responsibility to apply for us. Had we not questioned things today they would have charged us full price! We are both 70 and on Old Age Pension. Not ONCE did they apologize and not once did they offer to help with a phone number or website. The manager simply could care less! They got in the door and would have made us pay.
