Jonathan Nelson was the only contractor that would even consider cleaning the house on a two month frequency schedule, a schedule we deemed very important, if for no other reason than having the toilets flushed and water run for a brief period. Jon has been very adaptable when we need certain dates for our cleaning outside of the two month schedule. He is very professional and is always attentive to our needs. Our flooring is different in that with in floor heating tile could not be taken up and therefore…read morenew flooring had to be put down on top of the old flooring. We were told the leveling compound would be used to make the floor level - and we believed them since that is their business. Upon completion the floor had "air bubbles" underneath and a lot of places where you could feel yourself "sink" into the floor. The owners came out to take a look. THEN we were told we were given two choices - a floor completely level for a higher price or a less pricey option and there would be inconsistency in the floor. We have spent well over $500,000.00 renovating this log home and were appalled at their "excuse" , blaming US for the uneven floor! Additionally, they charged us DOUBLE for the carpet - and they did not use the preexisting carpet blanks to stretch the carpet upstairs. They ordered an extra 17 boxes of flooring - which we don't need and didn't want, they manufactured a much higher bill at the end of the job stating "this job turned out to be more than we thought" - so in my opinion they were trying to get more money and increased the final bill by about $10,000.00. Crooks, in my opinion! They are not truthful, in our experience and blamed us for the crappy floor installation.
