Although she didn't care for it much (loss of independence, etc.) I thought it was a very nice facility. Her room was large, there was a big tv, tables and chairs in the room for family and a nice large private bathroom. The lobby area had places to sit with vending machines, puzzles, etc. Family can choose to wash their loved ones clothes on site in the nearby laundry room. The staff seemed very attentive and caring. The meals were hot, healthy and smelled great. We especially liked the "healing garden" located in the center courtyard for a place to get some fresh air and sunshine. Although no one probably wants to be in a place like this, when needed I thought they were very good.

PRODUCT Our product is cheap care for your elderly loved ones. We find that paying staff more and hiring people who just 'care too much' only leads to favoritism. We must provide the same care to each resident. As little as possible. Meetings: We have weekly meetings but usually don't do much unless a client's family member attends. Our job is to reassure families that we are doing a laundry list of tasks we ( just don't do). ONBOARDING TASKLIST Week 1: In week 1 you will learn the most important lesson. Do as little as possible, we want you to always appear busy but loud talk and laughter is encouraged so families hear that we are having fun. Week 2: In Week 2, we want all of our nurses to understand and utilize chemical restraint. This allows aides and nurses to avoid spending extra time learning about de-escalation methods, deep breathing, and walking away. If you care about your loved one, just remember, we will know when it's time for them to leave this earthly home and we will help your loved one transcend. Run from Azria care. If you can't have a granny cam, think about what nursing homes are afraid you 'will' or 'won't see. They gave my mom an antipsychotic, rexulti which made her unresponsive; no eating, no drinking. No sustenance. My mom's POA had clearly stated we did not want my mom on that medication. On the medication she was unresponsive, She was a bit responsive for a couple of days after they took her off but she was dehydrated and without food. She then got covid. Or that's what her chart states. The state substantiated our case. Azria will be seeing a lot of fallout from this negligent and abusive homicide. I was very skeptical when I first walked into their office. I mean, I'd already done this how many times?! Now, three months down the road, I could not be more grateful to Jake at Horizon. He didn't just do some stretches, pop a TENS unit on me and send me out the door. He tried many different therapies and devices until we found what worked for my neck pain. When it came time to get a home unit for me to continue the work on my own, he worked his butt off to get everything squared away before the end of the year so that it would be completely covered by my insurance. I will never be able to put into words how grateful I am to have my normal life back without constant pain getting in the way. I will never go or recommend anywhere else again!
