The Community Centre itself is now managed by Hill Top Community Development Association who are now responsible for all activities within the building.
Believe it or not the foundation stone for the building was laid in 1897 and was served as a police station for the next 73 years. In the 1970s it was turned into a Community Centre and is right next to Hill Top Library.
The Community Centre is available to local people and is also available to hire. From social meetings, clubs and parties these are some of the events that can be held at the Centre. There is a Large Room and Small Room that can be hired out.
