Hill Street is probably the first place most people hit when going to town for shopping. It's a long spacious mall with a santas grotto at christmas and the sled goes through here on the christmas parade.
It has parking attached to it, one of those where you get a ticket as you go in, pay for it at a machine then put it into the ticket barrier as you go out. It has adequate security and people in suits that will direct you if you get a bit lost! There are three entrances to it, one from the car park, one opposite the bus station and one onto the main high street. Inside is Newlook, Primark, sports world, superdrug, woolworths, m&s, monsoon, principles, zumo, clinton cards, debenhams, thorntons, holland and barrats, 3, birthdays, the card shop, danglers, garage and then a few other shops that unlocks phones and sell clothes. Ooo and clarkes as well!
It's got a Greggs cafe in the middle as well. It's a really clean mall often with stands promoting various things like venture or paintballing or beauty places. It's a nice warm place to browse the shops, but very busy at times as people walk through it to reach sainsburys and the main town. read more
