There were two seating areas: The tables inside were cozy but the terrace was delightful. The nice server promptly took the orders: As we were a group of six, we ordered several dishes so we could try a little bit of everything and of course, the famous Wiener Schnitzel with mixed salad by which every restaurant in Austria is measured. Generally speaking, if that dish fails , usually it is a bad sign. But here everything was fresh, flavorful and served generously. The " Wiener "  like they called it here was crispy on the outside with a wonderful breading and the veal was tender and tasty. I discovered the scrambled eggs with wild mushrooms and I could see myself eating it for breakfast too. The dumplings were huge but the flavor wasn't lost . The fish was well cooked . The deserts were as good as the main dishes and I can't recommend enough the palatshinken(crêpes) and the topfentorte( Austrian cheese cake). In summary, maybe one of the best gasthaus in Vienna (typical Viennese restaurant) serving authentic Austrian cuisine at a great price!

During the weekdays they offer a lunch menu, price ranging from 7-12 € (seafood, meat, fish, vegetarian). Before your meal, like most Greek restaurants, you will be served a milky white strong alcohol drink (sorry, I don't know what it's called...). If you don't like alcohol, warning: don't even try it! As I said, the food was good but not impressive. Waiters were very friendly though! Personally, I don't really feel anything special about this restaurant but I have friends who like it here and come here very often! So if you like Greek crusine, try this restaurant!

The interior is cozy and has a pub-like feel to it, without being too loud or smoky (in the non-smoking area). I will add that the bread has room for improvement, just in case the owner reads this (it falls apart too easily), but nevertheless we have certainly found our new favorite restaurant in the 16th district.
