His knowledge of the real estate market and comprehensive research of home values in my neighborhood made it possible for me to list and sell ( in 6 days) at a higher margin than I had hoped for. Throughout the due diligence period, Jason continued to keep in touch as we proceeded to closing. His support and positive attitude kept me encouraged and motivated. I could not have asked for better attention to detail or personal service. Jason truly has the heart of a servant, as well as a genuine passion for his work. When given parameters for finding our new home, he listened!! His knowledge of the market, combined with his professionalism and respected reputation among his peers, made the home search for our family a most pleasant one. He offered invaluable information during the negotiation and the "offer to purchase" process. With Jason acting on our behalf, we were happily in our home by October 28th. As a disclaimer, I must reiterate that Jay is not family by birth but he is now family by our choice and has an open invitation to visit anytime. I strongly encourage any home buyer/seller to contact Jason Lawrence and The Lawrence Group. You will not be better served. Martha Vaughan, Greensboro

They were professional yet friendly, helping us in each step of the process. Because of their commitment to do their best for us, we had peace of mind that we would find our perfect home. Not only will we recommend them to people we know, but if we sell our house, the first call we will make will undoubtedly be to Lawrence Real Estate Group.

She helped make a complicated process super smooth. From day one til day done (and even after) Detra maintained an open line of communication between us. She responded promptly to any questions or concerns. She was very thorough and explained EVERYTHING that was going to take place throughout the process which I appreciated because, being a first time home buyer, there were things I didn't even know to ask about. When I did have questions (often) she almost always had the answer and if she didn't, it was at most a half hour before she'd get back to me with the answer. I did do extensive research on my own prior to embarking on this journey and Detra checked every box, proving to be extremely knowledgeable in her field. I appreciated the fact that she remained professional throughout the whole process but also managed to make me feel like we were family. I know this is her job and everyone has bills to pay but Detra made me feel like the end goal was all about me getting into a beautiful, safe home in my budget that my family would enjoy for years to come- not about pushing this process along so she could get her cut and move on. I used all of her contacts (inspector, lender recommendations, etc) and everyone was great and served me just as well as she did. She was prompt in making connections and appointments with any 3rd party and made sure we got reports back in a timely fashion. She never let anything go answered and would follow up as often as needed to get us whatever answers we needed. After closing, Detra gave me a packet of information about the city I was moving to, things to do/look out for and how to stay on top of things regarding my new home. Detra Cox is truly a gem and I recommend her to everyone in need of a realtor in the area. I will be using her again as I'll be getting into buying more real estate in the future.

I strongly recommend Detra if you're looking for a top notch agent to help with your home purchase or sale.

I was in North Carolina for 10 days and from Seattle Washington and towards the end of my trip and I was disappointed with the Realtors I have been working with since they weren't coming up with anything. They were just giving me a list to sort through. When I reached out to Dave regarding only one property he was happy to get me information and also suggested to other properties he found based on what I was hoping for. I met him the next morning and we went to see only two properties and I made an offer on the second one. I've returned to Seattle and now we're just waiting for the construction to be completed. He really heard me when I was telling him what I was hoping for and he really did his best to get that dream house for me. It's my first house. And we're relocating from Seattle to Walnut Cove since it's only approximately 30 miles to Greensboro and Winston-Salem for employment options. Very kind, funny, and authentic person. Can't go wrong with him I highly recommend him. Sept 24, 2018 Update: He helped us beyond expectations. During our loan process there were some hiccups and our realtor was able to help us... help the bank since the banker was still new at his job. Dave kept in contact with us on a regular basis and was always in a good mood . And the day of our walkthrough he even fixed our garage door. He knew it was the sensors that were off. I will be using him again to buy some land. Very nice man.

LOANCARE is not a reputable company in my opinion. They did not send a commitment letter to my county treasurers office and as a result I got a notice my tax payment was delinquent. They still cannot tell me the status because the "tax department does not speak to customers, they do not speak to us (their own customer service) and we do not even have a phone number for them". Only after 2 calls and insisting did someone call me back and at least confirm they received my fax of the tax document. Yes this review is about Cunningham & Company, a good mortgage company does not hand over management of your loan to another company that provides terrible customer service and is at best incompetent, at worst possibly fraudulent.
