Specialties
My name is Ryan Jones I am a stage 4 Cancer survivor and warrior. I am currently on immunotherapy fighting for my own life. My family and I love the outdoors, we spend every free second outside hiking most of the time with our 5 dogs. There are many nonprofit organizations set up around walking or running to put corporate sponsorship together with Patients to earn money towards a cure. This is different, I created this organization because as a patient I know the outdoors is the only thing that makes me feel good and heal. Chemo hurts and sucks (I know) and being in a hospital bed feels like impending death. I want to get patients outside and bring them to the most beautiful trails to hike. Take them camping to see the milky way under a Joshua Tree Sky or maybe the northern lights in BC Canada. Hike miles enjoying gods beautiful creations while healing and making lifelong friends who truly understand. I hope to gain the type of sponsorship needed to supply the equipment, food, and funds needed to make these dreams come true. We intend to set up hiking events for personal sponsorship like hike A thons paid per mile and corporate sponsorship to achieve the type of trips that make a kid with cancer forget they have it for 2 days. I want to give these patients hiking gear and outdoor knowledge, enough that they could survive after the course. In the San Bernardino mountains, I was on the Search And Rescue teams. An avid outdoorsman with 25 years of experience, CPR Certified.
History
Established in 2023.
I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in Jan 2022. My appendix exploded with cancer and it was metastatic, to almost every major organ in my body. I went in for emergency appendicitis and woke up to the news I have stage 4 cancer and less than 5 years to live. I have 2 small children, this was the most devastating thing that could happen to my little family. As I lay on the hospital bed contemplating what my life would be like with cancer and leaving my children I felt a feeling I've never felt. It was any give-up leaving my body, I stood up 1 day after major surgery, I had a bowel movement on day 2 of recovery, and by the 4th day was ready to leave the hospital. No doubt Jesus was with me and the nurses at Redlands community hospital are just amazing. I had a port put in and started chemo before even getting staples removed. I was on 3 chemotherapies and 1 immunotherapy. My doctors stopped the growth at that time but the medicine almost killed me. I know from experience nature heals us
Meet the Business Owner: Ryan J.
Hello,
My name is Ryan Jones and I created this non-profit to get cancer patients out in nature to enjoy gods beautiful creations and heal their minds and body. I went through Chemo and I'm currently on immunotherapy at the City Of Hope. I have stage 4 adenocarcinoma metastatic to mostly everywhere in my body. I do not give up and want to help others in the same position feel the same. We will provide everything needed to get patients to their desired location and all supplies and food needed during their time spent. We will teach survival skills and make lifelong friends with other patients. We are in this fight together, I love and appreciate every fighter/warrior out there! To those who are gone, I live for you. To those still here let's enjoy the majestic beauty of this amazing place we call home. I appreciate every day I get to live and I appreciate you reading my story. Please consider donating or becoming involved we all need each other. Thank you.
