My experience trying to book an appointment with this clinic has been unnecessarily frustrating, confusing, and unprofessional. On my first day trying to schedule an appointment, I was told by the woman (which I've now discovered is an answering service) that someone would call me back the same day. Nope. No callback, and when I finally got one, they messaged to say, "They got a missed call from me." Not true. The second time I called back (answering service again), the woman told me the office was closed until January 6th!! This is also not true, as I just received an email this morning. Unless this is also some kind of third-party answering service? Bizarre. Overall, the whole experience was an inconvenience and waste of time. Pushing my Botox out further than necessary. I found another provider whose clinic manager personally called me to book my appointment and give me a better promo price. Just a tip: hire someone in the clinic who actually prioritizes clients and new clients. Customers can feel the difference in the quality of care and deeply appreciate good service. read more

Wow! I am blown away by Dr. Ha's beautiful new office. It has such a peaceful vibe and positive energy as soon as you walk in. Its like an art gallery meets plastic surgery/medical spa! Everything is pristine, clean and so beautifully and creatively decorated. Turns out Dr. Ha designed it himself and did most the work. When I hit 40 I also hit that moment that I felt I was starting to look my age. Something had to be done! My mom with her ever helpful "hmm looks like it time for you to start Botox" referred me to Highly Artistic Surgery as she had been going here for years. Since I started going almost 2 years ago I have has Botox, Erbium laser around my eyes (photo), Juvederm lip filler and joined their monthly membership. Botox: Dr Ha is not going to pump you with a bunch of unneeded Botox. I have referred friends here that said they got less then they are use to getting and my mom has told me about places she has gone in the past that have given her more then she likely needed. Dr. Ha is going to give you a natural look and not try and push more Botox on you then you need. So if your goal is to look like Tim Allen in Christmas with the Kranks this is not the place for you. Erbium laser: This was recommended to me by Ashleigh Ha when I was discussing my concerns about my eyes and seeking recommendations. This is a laser treatment so there is some down time. The process can sting a bit and you will not want to see anyone for about a week. But its worth it! As you can see from the photos you can see tightening under my eyes. (this is with three sessions) Juvederm lip filler: Sorry I don't have the before an after of this. Dr. Ha is subtle with lip filler so you are not likely to have Kylie Jenner before and after lips. If you are just wanting to get a bit more fill to your lips especially as you age and your lips thin I would recommend this. Monthly membership: I love this. I have the option to pick one procedure a month from a list included with the membership (I believe you can see a list offered on their website) The membership is $99/month (at the time of writing this) and its like a nice spa day each month. Dr. Ha left me a deformity on my left cheek! I went in to see him on Nov. 17th for fillers. I told him I wanted more volume in my cheeks. He suggested I get 1 syringe of Voluma. The next morning I woke up with a round bruised circle on my cheek with a very visible divot. I called his office and I was told by Annette that I had to wait 2 weeks to see the final result. I agreed and said I would give it 2 weeks. I decided to go see a Dermatologist and he told me that the filler was injected wrong and said I should go back to the person who injected it wrong and have it dissolved. The Dermatologist who told me this has been a Board Certified Dermatologist for over 40 years!! I still decided to give it another 6 weeks and hoped it would improve but it was looking worse. That's when I decided to give Dr. Ha's office a call and went in to see him. He did not admit that he injected the filler wrong. At first he started telling me that I needed more syringes of filler, then he started telling me that filler would not do anything for me, that I needed a face lift! Why didn't he tell me this before taking my $905 for a syringe of Voluma??? I insisted I have it dissolved so he injected hialuronidase. He said to give it a few days and call the office if I wanted more. I called 4 days later and asked if I could go in for more hialuronidase and I was told by Ashleigh that I could go in for more but that it was only going to dissolve my own collagen because Dr. Ha "hadn't injected filler in that area" that was bruised with a deep divot. Oh really?? Then how did I get that bruise with the divot? It wasn't there before until I went in to see Dr. Ha for fillers. My cheek Looks worse now than before. Hello! Just admit that you failed in fillers this time! I wanted to take the time to tell you about my amazing experience with Dr. Ha, and his staff, at Highly Artistic Surgery Center in Poway. I cannot begin to tell you how pleased that I am with Dr. Ha, and the results of my non-surgical face lift. Let me start at the beginning of the story. As a 56 year old woman, I am no stranger to cosmetic procedures. I've had Botox, Juvederm, Restylane, and just about any other injectable to make me look younger. I've been to fancy La Jolla plastic surgeons, and paid an arm and a leg for these services. Botox to lift the brow - check. Juvenderm for thinning lips - check. I've tried it all. So, if I've done it all, why did I still look old? And tired? And unattractive? I didn't use to look this way. I was beginning to despair. Here I was going to "high end" plastic surgeons, but I just didn't like what I saw in the mirror. It was time for a change, that's for sure. So, I decided to look locally for a good plastic surgeon. Dr. Ha's office is up the street from my home, and he came highly recommended, too. I did my research and learned that Dr. Ha is an oncologist that specializes in cancers of the throat and neck, and does reconstructive surgery to help cancer survivors feel good about themselves again . As such, it made sense that Dr. Ha would know the neck and face, not just from the perspective of plastic surgery, but also from the perspective of a skilled surgical practitioner. So I booked a consultation with Dr. Ha. I knew that I didn't want actual surgery, but rather, a combination of non-surgical procedures to help regain a more youthful look. At the initial consultation, Dr. Ha took almost an hour to look at my face, and discuss options with me. He explained that through a set of non-surgical procedures, my face would look refreshed and toned. Dr. Ha also said that I would NOT look 20 years old again, but that I WOULD look 10 years younger - a better version of myself. This was OK with me! I'll take 46 any day! My second appointment was at the beginning of March. I took the afternoon off from work to do a series of non-surgical procedures including Botox, various fillers, Fraxel, and Ultherapy. Each of these is designed to do something different, but work together to achieve a refreshed look. Ultherapy lifts the face, neck, and throat. Fillers restore plumpness, and Fraxel and Botox fight wrinkling. So it made sense to do these at the same time, for the maximum result. Even though the results of Ultherapy cannot really be detected for 2 to 3 months, the other procedures were instantly successful. Please check out my before and after photos. They are truly unbelievable! I am looking forward to seeing the full results of my non-surgical face lift in a month or so. By then, the Ultherapy will have had time to work. What a treasure to discover Dr. Ha and Highly Artistic Surgery. As I age, hyper pigmentation is problematic, especially with Asian skin. Our skin type doesn't allow us to use most laser treatments. Dr. Ha recommendedClear and Brilliant laser . After three treatments, my pores are smaller and the sun spots and pigmentation have improved. During my last visit , the sparkling jewel in the office, Ashleigh recommended I have an IPL which would help the large darken pigmentation covering a good portion of my cheek bones. The sun can cause havoc to my skin ! I have posted a picture only five days after the treatment and my skin hasn't looked this good in years! The pigmentation is almost gone; my pores are smaller; and my skin feels soft and smooth. Ashleigh doesn't let you leave the office without strict instructions on how to take care of your skin following treatment and will follow up with a progress phone call and schedule a time for your next appointment. 2 HUGE THUMSBS UP!!!!! Dr. Ha is an amazing Dr.... I have have had 2 surgeries in 45 years, I am not comfortable with being put under and worked on..it is a HUGE fear.... He not only made me feel comfortable and confident he and his staff made the whole process amazing...before and after care... NOW to the work done.... I boxed, extreme sports, and plenty of broken noses and damage...yes my nose had big lumps and flared out at bridge...my main concern was breathing and being able to compete in spite strength competitions and crossfit...breathing on enough air is my only issue my cardio and power are fine..... NOT only did he open it up internally and I can now breath, I actually love the fact he cleaned my nose up resculpted the lines and how much better it looks....it was supposed to be an hour and a half surgery, after getting in there he had alot ot past damage to overcome that I did....5 hours later and an amazing job both asthetically and functionally how it works... But due the discrimination I received from the front staff has caused me to not feel comfortable going to this office for any procedure. It is sad and unfortunate that I was mistreated by the front office staff. Dr. Ha has done it again! During my recent visit I wanted to add a lip filler to my upper lip. If you've had the chance to read my previous review then you have a background on my journey to a well balanced lip appearance. It had been a few years since my initial treatment do to moving overseas. Since I'm in town for a couple of months and I really miss have full lips I scheduled a visit. My first lip filler was Juvederm XC (administered by Dr. Ha) and it lasted almost a year and looked fantastic. At this visit I was offered a new product by Juvederm. It's called Juvéderm Vollure XC. I had a few moles on my face I wanted to get rid of. The good doctor recommended a do an overall laser treatment. He said it would help smooth out my skin from acne scaring and also the help the skin underneath the moles repair after he removed the moles. I agreed and his price for all of it was definitely probably would have cost at least a thousand more at most places, maybe more. A month later and the area where he removed the largest mole? Can barely tell there was a mole there! Wow. Was afraid of a scar considering the mole was not huge, but not small. I have to look real hard in the mirror to see where it was. The secret to this place is that I think the Dr. is new to the area. Probably why they don't seem to be extremely busy. That helps to get the time and see the Dr. quickly. As I said, the prices are extremely reasonable, the Dr. obviously is smart and educated. Insightful.
