Can you say mildew? I just moved into a unit with a damp wooden floor and visible mildew. I will be moving out as soon as possible. I hope my belongings are not permanently damaged. I smelled mildew when I first entered the building. This was not the case five years ago. read more

We have near perfect credit and after emailing several times they never responded to us once--there service is a borderline scam--they're friendly before you sign up, and once you do, they're gone!

They were so helpful through the whole process they kept us in the loop and kept us updated. They always responded to our calls quickly, we have lived here for over 18 years and never had a problem, we're very happy here and very glad that we were able to stay. I would and have recommended the complex to family and friends and they are happy here as well. I'm sorry if anyone has had a bad experience but we can't say enough about Sabrina, Toni, Jackie, Nate and everyone else at Asset for doing everything possible to help us through this, I can't say enough good things about them, they have always been there for us and we will be forever grateful to them

A & E Hardwood Floor Refinishing

I chose a company that used a sander vs a stripper since the floor were damaged in several spots from water overflowing from potted plants. We didn't have to put up any plastic curtains to contain the area. After sanding the floors smooth, A&E put down three coats of water based finish, two in one day and the third coat after drying overnight. I had a choice of either water based or oil based and I chose the water based since my wife uses an inhaler and I wanted minimum fumes, you could barely smell the water based finish as it was drying plus the floor dried in a little over an hour. They even helped move the furniture. It's a great company, they did an excellent job.

It was a pleasure visiting their store and getting honest advice on flooring options, availability, and cost. Everyone was helpful and knowledgable. They communicated with us as we waited for our order to arrive. Their installation crew was excellent and left the room spotless before they left. The floor looks magnificent. We would highly recommend NDHW if you need new carpeting or flooring and want to work with a local company that understands what superior service means!!

The finish in the kitchen and part of the dining has unacceptable issues. This has been a problem since day one. There is dark staining coming through the wood on the seams. The finish is uneven and the floor stains when anything touches it. It just seems like the floor has no protection at all. The rest of the house does not have this issue. We have sent Mike pictures, asked him to come... which he has done... but 2.5 years later he has done nothing to resolve the problem. We have called and called. In our last conversation, we told him his behavior is unacceptable and unprofessional 2.5 years was too long to wait! He told me "We are too far out of the way and inconvenient...that I would just have to wait a little longer. Funny, he didn't feel that when he took the job. Sadly, he has mistaken our kindness and patience for weakness. Therefore, we are left with little choice but to let future customers know that this business DOES NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK and begin a social media campaign to get this word out. I would NEVER use this business and absolutely do not recommend them. We purchased carpeting from Fosters Flooring in Staatsburg. They were much better, responsive, and professional. I would highly recommend them.
