I have had Highgate Carpets fit Amtico in three rooms in my house . Two rooms have had laminate flooring put in. The Main living room floor has had a parquet engineered wood floor installed with a carpet to second floor stairs and landing. From showroom visit to installation, I could not fault the Company and would not hesitate to recommend them. They did everything from uplifting and disposing all the old flooring . Amtico floor fitted in June 2014 on ply base. Small kitchen but ply was in 3 pieces, a join placed over a join on sub floor, nails inserted within area marked as having pipes underneath. Amtico tiles raised in a ridge across floor. Fitted admitted he had "messed up". Offered a refund but not received to date. Have now had floor lifted and fitted by another company. Would definitely NOT use this company again. Now have to take legal action to get money back!! read more
