This is a family run pharmacy that used to be in downtown Rockland until Camden national bank took…read moretheir building. It's always a very friendly and unstressful experience, even though it can get pretty busy. I had tried to refill a 90 day prescription at Walmart in Thomaston where they were going to charge me $78. When I was in Seattle, the Safeway pharmacy I went to charged me $20 for the same quantity (which I've now realized was abnormally low). I decided to try Jensen's in the hope that I'd pay less and even if I did have to pay that much, I'd rather give it to a small business. I went to Jensen's and asked how much it would be before they filled it. They listened to my Walmart story and said they would charge me $50. I also was easily able to get my doctor to call so I could get an early refill before I leave the country. Jensen's quickly filled it. They also have a lot in the actual pharmacy that is hard to find elsewhere. Like vanicream sunscreen! I will be coming here for all medications.

Like all the Sherman locations my wife and I have visited they are not just simply a bookstore. They have a wide variety of souvenirs and other goodies you may want to buy. Book wise they have a good variety of new and popular along with classics and organize them neatly in well marked areas by genre with some Maine focused book areas even. During our visit it was very busy and my wife found a couple books that piqued her interest. I do think due to how much of the area is touristy and distance from me I likely wouldn't seek this particular location out again. Much closer locations with better overall set up. Nothing outright negative about this one besides some areas really lacking space for a busy store making it hard to move. Glad to have now visited this one! If you are visiting from away visit here and check out one of the locations of Maine's oldest bookstores, add it to your list. Some other great shops and good spots to eat nearby.

There is some casual wear mixed in throughout the store so you could very well come away with the perfect top, jacket or skirt too. There is a bit of jewelry as well. On our most recent visit to Camden we happened upon their "tent sale" taking place right outside the shop, There were lots of things greatly marked down so hard to resist. I bought a black and white cotten summer weight jacket that I've already worn twice, once with white slacks and just yesterday with a white skirt. There were some gorgeous undies incredibly marked down but nothing in my size so I was sadly out of luck. I can be very finicky when it comes to sleepwear and undergarments; I really want comfort and excellent quality. This place delivers some good options.

I bought some organic cotton pajamas for my 9 year old son and for myself and they are superb. The quality of the cotton is so good, wish I had a store like theirs close to home. Everything out there nowadays is synthetic, plastic, acrylic, nylon... so hard to sleep in those without sweating like a pig. My son loves the pajamas and I am definitely going back next year and hope to be able to stock up on good quality cotton sleep and underwear. Highly recommended.
