He still had to get verification from his manager and then said he couldn't let me buy the beer. Mind you I said I'm military and had to have a drivers license extension because I'm stationed in GUAM. My drivers license is from Arkansas so obviously I can't have a valid drivers license. He didn't even ask to see my military ID. Didn't bother. Straight up told me I couldn't buy my cases of beer. I'm about to turn 25 years old as well. Then my wife and grandmother in law went to go buy it 5 minutes later and he immediately said "you're not buying for him!" So my wife walked out and just said she's gonna go to Walmart and buy the beer.

When I asked why they would not honor their online price, the owner said (short paraphrase here), "It's a special release. That price was only if I got 20 bottles or more. If you buy another $100 in the store, you can have it for $199.99". I was given a lecture on supply and demand before I left the store and told the owner I would "never" return. The next day, I purchased the same bottle for $59.99 at Blackwood Liquor and Wine. I called before I went to make sure they had a bottle in stock. They did. There are a lot of options (liquor stores) in Colorado Springs. I would recommend shopping with one other than Interquest Liquor.

I was visiting nearby and looked for an awesome selection of craft beers nearby... Surprised to find Weber Street 4 blocks from where I was staying for 5 days. Went to get a pizza at Stellina and on the way back stopped in for a few beers to go with... I walked around and a gentleman carrying boxes asked if he could help... I wasn't being profiled - trust me as a brown guy wearing a face mask and the large selection that was not the impression I received. And he was carrying boxes so I doubt he was going to drop those and run after me. Instead of keeping my partner waiting I said no and grabbed a "Blind Pig" from my hometown and approached the counter. Upon receipt, the nice lady asked if I was familiar with their "other beer" and I dropped my jaw... My immediate response was "I'll be back!" - not with an Austrian accent I did come back and I was again asked if I need help - trust me people; take the help as these people care that you go home happy and go home without Natural Ice - SMH
