From Scotch to Irish to Bourbon to American Whiskey - this place has it all. Plus, all the wine, beer, and other alcohol you may be seeking (they even had a few bombers of Deschutes Abyss from a few years back I believe is no longer being produced). The staff was welcoming and quite helpful. One of the gentlemen took me through the "Spirits Room" and showed me all the current offerings of barrel picks the owner selected. I greatly appreciated the 5 minute tour, but had so many choices and questions spinning through my head after. There is also a nice section of Colorado whiskies to the right of the main checkout counters that is nice touch. But why is this a 5 star review? Plenty of Colorado liquor stores have good selections and friendly staff. The reason I went 5 stars here is just the overall volume of bottles I had never seen, stacked floor to ceiling (and sometimes a few on the floor as well, so watch your feet!). I ended up walking out with a couple of store picks and cannot wait to crack them open in the near future. If you are in Colorado Springs and close to downtown - you must check this store out! Give yourself some time though, as there is so much to see and choose from.

PROs: ++ The prices are actually pretty decent compared to most liquor stores I've been too. ++ The local craft brew selections is quite large. It was hard for me not to stock up and bring it all home. ++ Mission Point Liquor is located in a strip mall; so there's ample parking to be had. CONs: -- We asked to just evenly split the purchase in half. Somehow we both still paid different amounts and when added together they didn't equal the original total. Huh?! -- The store smelled super strongly of Swisher Sweets. Eh... No thank you. -- Service is slow. With three people behind the counter, only one person was actually working a register! Say whaa?! That's weird. While we were able to leave with some boozy beverages, I think we'll seek out a different liquor store to better fit our needs next time we're in the area.
