The staff is so caring, everyone at the school knows my children very well. They have a science and music room which the kids love. They even offer extended lunch bunch for the parents who need a little extra time in the afternoon. The class sizes are small so every child gets the attention they need. They offer classes starting at age 1 and thru 6 years. My youngest will start next year! I can't wait for her to be a part of the family at Building Blocks!

The teachers are all so kind and the director, Carly, is easy to work with. One of the most unique things about Lucky Lane is their flexible scheduling. It really makes a huge difference to my family, and I have not encountered another school that offers anything like it. My daughter has learned so much there. She always comes home singing new songs from music class, with new books form the library, or with stories about playing with her friends outside or in the wheel-toy room. She is always excited to go to school in the morning, which makes dropping her off each morning a breeze. I simply can't say enough great things about Lucky Lane!

Leslie Crouthers, the owner, is very involved with both the Chesterfield and the Eureka locations. She is hands on, has been in the child care and school industry for decades, has two daughters of her own, and is a genuinely good soul with a child's best interests at the forefront of every decision. I know when I leave her with the infant teachers in the morning that she is in safe hands and is well taken care of. This is one of the best daycare/preschool that I have found for my son. We enrolled our son here…read morewhen he was 2 years old, he is now 5 and in their pre-k class. The teachers there are amazing! They have so many great activities they offer like sports, gymnastics, Chinese and Spanish classes, parents night out, and so many others. Everyone there knows us when we walk in, even the teachers that are new or never even had us. The director of the facility is always around and never just sitting in her office, I always see her and the assistant director doing everything! From mopping floors and cleaning up, and being there when you need to talk about your child, and you can tell they actually take what you have to say seriously and helps out in anyway. Our son has learned so much while there. He is well above what he should know for his age and I think they have a lot to do with that since he spends most of his day there. I love the fact that when I drop him off everyday, he is in great hands. We have been to a couple daycares before knowing this is where we belong. It's an amazing place and I recommend it to anyone that is looking for a childcare center.

It's an okay school. Went here for three years, and it matched my religion which is why my parents…read morewanted me to go. Some feedback- the dining hall needs to be a lot better. I've had several friends find raw meat, hairs, and even one found an acrylic nail in their food. I personally have gotten food poisoning a few times and got sick from raw chicken once. The discipline system needs to be better. So many kids here that just do a lot of mischief and the teachers can't handle it all, I hope they get more support there. I had many issues with the discipline system here that I won't get into, but a lot of the time I didn't feel very loved here. Only a few adults really ever tried to help me become better or help with the situations at hand but it didn't solve the problems either for a very long time or ever. Some good things- the majority of teachers here are very sweet, love to teach, and have great teaching models. They really try to make sure every student is succeeding in their classes and put out good ideas and encourage learning, even though not all students respect that and abuse it. The trips are fantastic, especially the Israel and Class trips, Israel trip personally changed my outlook on life a lot and I loved it. If you're a Christian Scientist they actively put a lot of CS material into the curriculum and everyday life. If you're not a Christian Scientist, might not be so great. They also just built a huge new sports complex that's awesome. But overall, school is okay, doing better. Hopefully the new management can steer it in the right direction.

I then selected DCC due to the intimate nature and therefore the health protections and small class size that DCC provides. We have little to no interruptions like many of my friends and the communication is amazing. But the most important thing to realize is that DCC is not a daycare it is a community! The teachers do not see their role as a job but love the children and want to see them develop. Parents give of their time because they believe in the DCC and the community it creates. And the children see DCC as a home away from home and thrive. I could not recommend DCC more!

I had my baby…read morethere for 5 month and just couldn't believe how bad they treat the children. there are day that they literally forget to feed the babies. there are eight teacher in the room and no one of them will take any responsibility for your baby. as far as security, the back door is always open. i don't understand how anyone can leave his baby in this day care. worst ever!
