The contract price was $7,850+ plywood replacement and stated that the project included a 15-year limited warranty and a 25-year manufacturer warranty on roofing contract it self. On September 1, 2026, a portion of the ceiling collapsed onto my tenant. After the incident, I observed dampness in the affected drywall. my insurance company and private public adjuster determined the roof failure was caused by Clyde Johnson's I'm proper installation . Clyde Johnson didn't replace all rotten ply wood , used over sized screws , didn't bend flashing upward at Hip seams , and completely didn't apply any roof foam closure strips or insulation underneath roof seam end caps(completely cutting corners being cheap a contractor). With out my consent or my tenant consent they even sent out their employees the day after the collapse on September 2, 2026 to cover up their mistakes, the employee jumped back on my roof and removed a endcap and attempted to rebend the flashing at hip seams the correct way. COMPELTLY ILLEGEAL!!! my insurance company and ring door bell caught these scammers trying to cover up their original mistake Ramon Iglesias is a CROOK ! he's the manager at Clyde Johnson & CROOKED commissioner for Hendry county . he claims that Clyde Johnson has no liability for their 2 year old metal roof failing. I have repeatedly attempted to contact the company by telephone, text message, and email to obtain the complete warranty documents referenced in my original roofing contract. As of the date of this review, I have not received the requested documents or a substantive response to those attempts even after Bridget (crooked desk girl) claims shell sent the full documents. Ramon Iglesias is CON -MAN managing THE SCAM company called CLYDE JOHNSON ROOFING!!! I encourage other homeowners to obtain complete written warranty documents, retain all contracts and payment records, and carefully document everything. This company banks on small homeowners not having the money to purse this contractor after their roof fails in court. That's how they've been getting away robbing people in the Hendry county area. multiple homeowner s in the Harlem area have roofs that are failing within 5 years of being installed (mine being just 2 years old) This review reflects my personal experience and the status of the matter .
