The shop was clean, smelled nice, and very aesthetically pleasing. First time customers get 10% off, and on Tuesdays you also get an additional discount! (I can't remember exactly how much but great incentives!) Right when you walk in, you're greeted by a kind soul behind a desk waiting for your ID. There's also fruit water by the door for you to enjoy while you shop. The first time we visited we had lime & orange, and the second time we had strawberries. Very nice touch! Most importantly, the staff were incredible. We had the pleasure of meeting Ian and Stephanie our first time in. They're owners of the shop and it really showed how much they love their jobs & appreciate everyone who walks in. They were both incredibly personable and informative. We were in & out in minutes, because of how knowledgeable they were. They were happy to share some local hiking spots with us & interested in everything we had to say. INCREDIBLE hospitality. We came back a second time solely for them, where we met Mariana, another bud tender. She was beyond sweet and also knew the menu extensively. All in all, great location, amazing selection, clean, amazing staff & ownership, and all those little touches that make smaller shops soar above bigger dispensaries. They also accept credit cards, which a lot of places insist on debit cards for payment...another reason to go there. First of all, the space is big and bright, open, light, high ceilings...that alone means a lot to me. Haley was the young lady who helped us, and she was an enthusiastic bubble of information with a sweet smile. Coincidentely, she said she had insomnia as well, so she was very empathetic to our needs. My problem is that I can't get to sleep and my partner is out in two seconds, but can't stay asleep. We both tried her recommendations last night and both had great results. YAY!!! Above and beyond that issue, we wanted some recreational vapes and she made more happy recommendations for that. She steered us away from an overrated, overpriced product we had been using and gave us a different option. She explained that this option used double barreled construction, therefore keeping the taste fresher rather than getting down to the bottom and tasing stale....who knew???‍ SHE DID!!! I specifically asked for the lowest-priced sativa edibles, but the employee assisting me, Rajani, directed me toward one of the most expensive brands instead. When I requested Wyld edibles, she attempted to give me a CBD product, despite my clearly requesting raspberry sativa edibles that I have purchased from this location before. Her demeanor throughout the interaction was unpleasant and dismissive. When I handed her my ID, she placed it on the counter rather than handing it back to me. While that may seem minor, it contributed to an overall experience that felt discourteous and unwelcoming. The situation became even more frustrating when I discovered that my change was incorrect. I was owed $0.90, but after Rajani told me she had placed my change inside my bag, I arrived home to find only $0.40. I called the store to address the missing $0.50, and rather than receiving a simple acknowledgment or apology, I was met with even more rudeness. Rajani showed no apparent concern about the discrepancy and abruptly ended the call without an apology or even a courteous goodbye. This is not about 50 cents. It is about basic respect, honesty in transactions, accountability, and professionalism. I have shopped at this location before, and this experience was completely unacceptable. Customers should not have to deal with dismissive attitudes, repeated product confusion, incorrect change, and rude treatment when trying to resolve an issue. I have requested that management document this incident and make arrangements for me to collect the change I am owed. A simple apology and a willingness to correct the mistake would have gone a long way. Unfortunately, neither was offered. Kure management should take customer service concerns like this seriously. Returning customers deserve better.
