WORST customer service I've ever experienced, bar none. Do everything in your power to not do…read morebusiness with them - absolutely horrible experience. I purchased a very limited, hard to get motorcycle from them because they were the only dealership that had one. The owner, Bob Bott was my salesperson. He treated me as if he was doing me a favor by letting me purchase the bike. I would describe Bob's demeanor throughout my purchase process as at best totally apathetic and at worst as a full-on bully. When I asked Bob to explain why the fees on my purchase order were many thousands of dollars more than what Yamaha lists on their official website, his response was "I don't have an answer for that" and then told me that the prices listed on Yamaha's official site were incorrect. Referring to the increased price, he said "I don't care if you're mad about it" and then threatened that he could sell the bike to the next person through the door for more than he was selling it to me. I understand supply and demand and recognized that there may be some added fees, but was hoping they would be based somewhat in reality. Bob couldn't be bothered to even come up with a reason for the increased prices. After signing the financing docs and purchasing the bike, I was told "It's on the curb." I was given zero details about the bike such as where the owner's manual lives, what the break-in period was, or anything else. Essentially he was saying "I've got your money, get out of my store." To top it off, Bott failed to give me any of my financing details or paperwork after the sale and they gave Yamaha Financing my incorrect mailing address and email which resulted in Yamaha not being able to send me notifications about payments or mail me my statements. This ended up with me receiving a late payment fee and a negative mark on my credit report. Don't go to Bott Yamaha - there are other Yamaha dealerships in the area that offer a much better experience.

Avoid this shop at all costs! Had a 4 wheeler engine rebuilt, paid to have it fixed. Got it home…read moreand the engine wouldn't run and all the oil leaked out of it. Took it back in to have them fix their mistakes, they had it for over a YEAR before I lost my patience and called to put some pressure on them. To correct their issue they told me they would be taking it to Rexburg Motorsports and charging me to fix it because I let the battery go dead. What a joke, apparently a dead battery causes all the oil to leak out of a newly rebuilt engine. Who knew? So I am picking up the broken 4 wheeler, that I paid them to fix once already and now I get to take it to a real shop that knows what they are doing and pay them to correct this shops mistakes and incompetency. Terrible service, terrible communication. Will not go back and will deter everyone I know from using this shop.

Best service ever. Hands down. Period. Yes, they probably could've gotten in better contact with me…read more-as they did take some time on my bike, however for the complicated clutch I had for them to fix, which required some serious skill to repair- they managed to dial it and fix the problem for a FRACTION of the price of those other blood sucking dealers that charge superfluous amounts of money for the smallest of problems. Yes they did take some time, however it was completely worth the price they charged. If you're looking to save money for good service and can give it some time, I'd recommend these guys 120%. If you have a bike that you'd need fixed quickly, you might want to look somewhere else. I say again, they charged half-literally 50%- of what those carpetbaggers at Rexburg Motor sports were charging. And it's good local genuine service they give. If more shops were like Jones, my wallet would be bigger, as would my hopes for humanity.

We posed this question to the locals and got amazing results. It happens there is one relatively large business in town on the main highway that leads ultimately to Yellowstone that sells snowmobiles, ATVs, motorcycles, and other recreational vehicles. And they just happen to be well stocked with warm winter jackets and vests, just the sort of thing Mr. B wanted. The locals called it Polaris, but it is actually PMS, Performance Motor Sports. The jackets were high quality, light weight, really nicely made, and attractive. Just one flaw. They didn't have his size....but ....they could get one in tomorrow. Problem #2. We were leaving Ashton tomorrow morning. A quick phone call by Manager Corbett (and I believe owner too) and it turns out their supplier, the wholesale manufacturer, had one, and they were about 35 miles down the road. Best of all, they were in the direction we were headed. So, we paid for it so he would get the sale and he arranged for us to pick it up instead of waiting around for delivery. Everybody was happy and it was just that simple. In a world where things can be so complicated, there are wonderful people who fully understand flexibility and customer service. Thank you Corbett for being one of those people. It is my pleasure to be the first to review your business, and I wish you many more great Yelps.

My story is a year long story dealing with Dad's Motorsports. Dad's came recommended so I felt…read morepretty confident dropping off my 4-wheelers to have them repaired. The owner said he had a few other rides ahead of mine and that it would be a few weeks (June). Two months passed and I started checking in on on the 4-wheelers. One of them just needed a tune up and the other needed some additional work. Another month (September) and I finally got one of the ATVs back. It ran fine and seemed to be in good shape. No problem. The second ATV was going to require another couple of weeks. 2 months passed (November) and I checked in on the status. I finally had to stop by the shop because I couldn't get a response and he told me that he needed some parts and that it would be a few weeks and he would call me when it was ready. 2 more months passed, no word. I check in again. Something came up. Would get right on it. Check back in 2 weeks. 3 weeks later (January), no response. March. I check back. Still not worked on. April. Nothing. May Nothing. June, a full year later, I show up at his shop and ask...where is the ATV. "I can't fix it, but I'll trade out that one for this one and it will be about $200.00" I come in and he has it priced at $300+. It's been a year at this point so I pay for it and take it home. I put my daughter (then 9) on the ride and she zips down the street. The thing was fast and seemed to run really well. She rides for about 15 minutes, comes back and says "Its making a rattling noise" Turn it off look around and the starter is dangling. While the ride is still, oil is leaking out of the bottom. I roll it over and there is a crack in the oil pan. In an effort to make it right, I call Dad's Powersports and tell him what's going on. The response: "Your daughter broke it while she was riding it" I took the ATV back to his shop, while he was there, told him I wasn't keeping it, asked for my original back, and left. I cancelled my payment. Interestingly, he seemed to think he was entitled to full payment for his services and was irate when he found out I had cancelled his check. He obviously gets good reviews and seems to take care of the people he knows really well. I'm not impressed. For me, it was excuse after excuse and failure to deliver for over a year. I wouldn't recommend this shop and I wouldn't take anything in based solely on my experience. Maybe he was just having a bad year. As a side note, the owner will usually post some sort of inflammatory comments when an honest review comes through on one of the major search engines. He will claim the review is fake, the account is fake, or that the reviewer is some sort of hack moron. That's why I posted here, but I fully expect that we will see his response soon.
