My condition has improved dramatically, and she continues to tweak my regimen. Knowledgeable, caring, and personable. I highly recommend her. The office is also terrific.

As a Certified Natural Health Professional of 21 yrs, I needed to find a Functional Medicine ND -…read morefor my own issues that I've been having trouble solving. Fortunately, of the far too few choices in LV [as usual], I chose wisely. Dr. Angela is exactly what I'd hoped to find. She is everything you would want in a Dr., and a person, but so so difficult to find. When you meet for your first appt., the comfort level is already there. You seem like old friends having a chat, but trying to put together an important puzzle. You feel listened to, cared for; with a genuine interest and focus on how to solve what ails you. Dr. Angela is in no hurry, let's you talk freely and possesses that wealth of knowledge that you just know will help you get well asap. I am so relieved that my too often "sketchy" intuition was right on this time. Health is too important to mess up and waste time searching for the proper Health Professional to work with. You all know how hard that is. Health should always be Priority #1. I've done the search and gratefully found a high quality person who practices Natural Medicine. I don't mind saying that my own frustration w/trying and failing to find my own answers delayed my seeking out another qualified individual. My bad. Waiting has also delayed those answers from appearing. I don't feel good about that. I do feel good just knowing I now have a superb Dr. of Natural Medicine on my side who can assist me in achieving the goals I couldn't reach alone. It is my educated opinion and suggestion that your search for a highly qualified ND for you and your family ends right here with Dr. Angela Carlson.

I was referred to Dr. Sang Lee by my oncologist and was able to get in quickly for a consultation,…read morewhich I really appreciated. His office staff was pleasant, friendly, and efficient--no nonsense, which made the process smooth. My time with Dr. Lee never felt rushed. He truly listened to me and answered my questions thoughtfully without ever being dismissive. He explained the procedures I would be having in clear detail, making sure I understood everything before I left. Overall, it was a very reassuring and professional experience.

Dr Andrew Kim is highly educated but maybe too much? He does not listen to his patients because he…read moreobviously feels he knows more about what you are experiencing than you. I had gone into CDIN because there was an opening with a Dr Kim the next day. I had been experiencing severe gastrointestinal issues for 5 weeks and had urgent care order numerous stool tests for parasites to viruses to infections and they eventually 3 weeks later came back negative. Still no explanation and as a result no medication (antibiotic) to help cure the pain , diarrhea, spasms , cramps and feeling not 100% (infection). The urgent care does what most do and "Kick the can down the road" by way of referral and claim they have provided all they can as to treatment. Except you find as referred Gastrointestinal offices call you to schedule an appointment they offer next available dates three months from today while I am dealing with an infection now!! Pretty pathetic what healthcare has become since Obamacare. I was lucky and made an appointment with an internal medicine doctor and saw him and prescribed antibiotics to treat what could only be SIBO after all the other test ruled out everything else. You must see a gastrointestinal doctor to get that test and again luckily after my normal gastro was not available until Jan 12 2027 (first appointment available); I somehow had forms an opening the next day with CDIN with Dr Kim. I thought I was meeting a new Gastroenterologist and was happy I could get this test issued so if positive, the correct antibiotics can then be prescribed instead of a bandaid I was taking now to stop/stall the bacterial infection. I met Dr Kim yesterday and he said he remembered me and mentioned the Fibro scan and that I never came back after initial meeting. That was odd I thought he would remember 8 years ago one patient one time? I described what I had been dealing with for the last few weeks which he kept interrupting me to let me know it's not important, "I was here now". I told him I wanted to get a triosmart breath test to see if I can another case of SIBO (small intestinal bacterial overgrowth); which I had tested positive 2 years ago for using this test when no other tests were explaining these symptoms. Dr Ricker is my Gastrointestinal Caregiver. When I asked for the test, "he said he doesn't use such nonsense tests that are unproven". I told him I had tested positive before with the test from my last Gastro, and he stated "you should see him, he is into these crazy tests and theories". At that point I remembered him now. Extremely opinionated, doesn't listen, huge ego. You ask for tests that have provided positive results to catch and infection and he dismisses them as "out there tests", considers SIBO to be a fabricated bacterial infection?? After all that in your initial meeting he then proceeds to order a colonoscopy , endoscopy and his toy 'Fibro Scan'. On all a first visit. Having had a colonoscopy 2-3 years ago which I told him, and no issues were found, I was wondering if he was interested in finding and resolving issues of the patient or instead generating big ticket income procedures like colonoscopy and endoscopy that typically cost insurance $14,000 and up to have performed. Whereas a $350 SIBO Trio-smart breath test is absurd ??? In my opinion, Dr Kim is more interested in generating money through high dollar procedures versus listening and respecting his patient's requests , which I can see is the same thing that happened 8 years earlier and why I did not go back. I guess I have to make a chart of good and bad doctors so I don't forget after so many years and wind up in the exam room with the AGAIN .

The front desk quickly checked me in. From the time I checked in to the time the doctor came into the room was less than 15 minutes. The doctor Reviewed our prior visit notes. Well, I'm trying to find another Gastro, but his office is refusing to send my records to my new primary doctor. I have signed two releases. I have emailed one release. I have a response telling me that they got my release and the only thing they sent to my doctor was not the year or so of visits and other things that he had me do but just a report on a colonoscopy. He kept telling me there was nothing wrong with me, even though I could not hold my bowels in. And I have been put in some very embarrassing situations because I have no control. He is not the best doctor and his office is just as bad in the records department
