I just got my touch up done (about 5 weeks after my initial appointment) and my eyebrows look great. The touch up was fast, but again Campbell is very precise so they turned out great! Let me side bar…read morethis real quick-- my previous lash lady worked in Granger, IN and drove all the way to Schaumburg, IL to get her lashes done by Liz. That is 2.5 hours, folks! That's some serious commitment. That was more than enough to convince me to try her out. I started using Liz as soon as I moved and have been using her ever since. It has been about 3 years. Full transparency, I have tried other lash services in Chicago over the years in hopes to eliminate making the drive to the suburbs every few weeks. Let me tell you, it has never been worth it. The quality of Liz's services, lashes and technique by far surpass any of the other companies or products I have tried...and there have been many. I finally stopped trying other places because why mess with a good thing ;) For those of you who are reading reviews for cost purposes, I will let you know that she comes in very competitively. In my opinion, where she beats everyone coming in the same range, is the length of time the lashes actually stay on. Most places advertise three weeks, but I have only successfully experienced that with Liz. Aside from my personal love for my lashes, I am constantly getting compliments on the uniqueness of my lashes and the quality. I highly recommend her.

"You skin--worry-free with K-Beauty"…read more I've always been a big fan of Korean beauty--from skincare to makeup. Years ago, I visited South Korea and spent way too much time (and money ) shopping for skincare in Myeongdong, so I know the real deal when it comes to K-beauty. Today, I finally got to experience that same vibe locally at Miel K‑Beauty Spa, and I'm so glad I did. I came in right on time for my eyelash lift appointment, and everything felt calm, organized, and welcoming from the start. While I was there, I asked about their facials. Sadie--the owner and esthetician--walked me through their service menu without rushing or upselling. I ended up choosing the 60-minute Hydra Soothing Facial, and honestly... it was so refreshing. My skin felt clean, hydrated, and relaxed afterward. The spa itself is very tidy and spotless, which I really appreciate. Sadie was warm, gentle, and clearly knows what she's doing. She even gave me helpful advice on how to do deep cleansing at night, especially for blackhead removal--tips I'll actually use. If you're in Arlington Heights and love Korean skincare (or just want to treat your skin right), check this place out. You won't regret it--your skin will thank you.

She used my face shaped and mapped out where my eyebrows should be. She color matched me and asked my opinion every step of the way. She was so funny and I was laughing and talking with her the entire time. She was so easy to talk to. She did a combo of micro blading and shading. When I told her a spot was sensitive, she paused and put more numbing without a second thought. She made sure I loved my eyebrows and touched up any spot without hesitation.
