We went into this bar/restaurant and were greeted with their Tuesday specialty, a platter of Fries chicken. We were with a group of 19 people who called ahead but we were not part of that original 19 people. We called ahead earlier in the day as we knew that the group of 19 had already. We did so because we knew that they would be busy. We called them and were told to come in and order then. We came in at the same time that the group of 19 came in. We should have known that there would be a problem as the group of 19 had no water glasses or pitchers waiting. I thought that was weird since they knew at noon about this group. Anyway, so we waited in the back for someone to come back to take our order and nothing. We waited probably 20 minutes and considering it was hot out, we were thirsty for beer. A friend of mine and myself went up to the bar to order the chicken and the beers. We were yelled by an older lady to go back to the back and sit down we will get with you. Well, now the chicken didn't look to appetizing. I have been in retail for over 25 years and I've never yelled at a customer that we will get to you to go back there and sit down and shut up. I don't understand it even now as they were not that busy as there was probably four other families there. It was just that the lady didn't wanna take our order for some reason. This is something that they are supposed to be known for so if they were busy which I didn't think that they were as the chicken was already done for the group of 19 there shouldn't have been a problem serving us. I also found out later that night that there was some people in the group of 19 who want a T-shirt as they remembered that restaurant when they were younger. They were told that the T-shirts are in the back and they were unwilling to go back there and get them because they didn't know the sizes that they wanted. So, they lost out on our chicken order and beers which probably would've been at least $50-$60. Then, they lost out on probably selling at least 10 to 15 T-shirts of that bar because they seem like they're in both cases that they were too lazy to get off their butts. I don't understand why they would want to turn away probably around $300 of merchandise and food but I guess that's their thing. Especially, when they're supposed to be known for having really good chicken and they were not busy. There is a newspaper article that I saw that they did over 70 chickens one night. So how they were too busy to serve four or five people is mine blowing. Hopefully, they're lazy attitude towards people improves. read more
