It's not that I dislike this shop (I think I even interviewed for a job here when I was a student), it's more that I'm rarely in the mood for a fancy leather bag, and if I was these just wouldn't be my style. It's not easy to give the thumbs up to a place that can be a bit frosty and you've never felt compelled to spend any money in. I'm sure that it does well, but it's not a unique shop - the ranges are actually sold all over the country (although it's always nice to see Lisa Stickley's stuff being sold, I like her very much). You get things like Radley, and I just don't get the 'thing' with those little Scotty dog emblems.
I always look in the window (usually with a churro in my hand getting caramel sauce all over my face) but it's very rare I go in. I'm just not a £50 for a purse kinda gal. Probably why I didn't get the job. read more
