We tried playing this course a year ago but got rained out and got rain checks. We were able to…read morecomplete our round and boy were we in for a real treat (slightly sarcastic)! The course was super wet as it had rained for 6 hours the early morning of making it a puzzle to maneuver throughout the course. Regardless of that the course was beautiful and super challenging. We don't know if we'd ever make it back so we played the tips (very challenging) to get the full experience. Boy was it a full experience! We're both long enough but if you're anywhere not in the fairway you are punished, repeatedly. Accuracy is king and hitting fairways is a must. Greens were pretty slow because of the rain, but if they're a little drier I can see them being very fast. Bunkers were compacted and pretty much mud because of the rain. The par 3's were some of the longest par 3's I've ever played. 3/4 we're over 230 yards with 1 being 275! Just insane! Par 4 we're lengthy with most reaching 500. 2 of the par 5's were over 600. Quite a few blind shots so playing previously would help know where to go. Practice facilities were nice which included free range balls. Overall it's a nice course that can be challenging if you're not hitting fairways.

New course appears to still be under construction as the rough is unplayable. Certainly not worth…read morethe $95/round as the demand for tee time is overdone. The fairways & greens are very well manicured & the design is challenging. If you are not a scratch handicap then you should not waste your time or money on this course. Hopefully IU will finish the course over the next few months and add GPS video screens which is a minimum expectation for this price range imho.

Rolling Meadows Golf Club - The fairways are like cow pastures. Grass is tall and very bumpy. Your ball goes nowhere. The greens aren't so bad though.

Played this course with my two sons on a Saturday morning in early August and really enjoyed it…read more The price was nice at $40, well stocked club house with very friendly staff. Carts have GPS. There is an irons only driving range. Be sure and grab a hot dog from the clubhouse at the turn as they were jumbo and delicious. And the restaurant served us a great lunch after the round. Now for the course and I'll start with the negatives. The fairways are tees are spotty. But in our minds that's the only negatives at this course. The greens were in tip-top condition and a little on the slow side due to keeping them longer to combat summer heat. It was fun to play. The front takes you more through the hills and woods and the back a little more open. But the course is fair with fairways wide enough to hit for even the less skilled player. The course has blind shots, open shots, uphill lies and down hill lies, short holes, long holes, water lined holes, holes you carry over water, you get it-a wide variety of shots that made every hole different. As I remember there were five sets of tees. My sons played gold and I played silver which put my drives about the same distance as theirs. The silver tees made a couple of the holes pretty short. My next visit, and we will play there again soon, I might try teeing it up from the white tees. Pace of play was good with a ranger monitoring play. The three of us had a very enjoyable round and I highly endorse a visit to this southern Indiana golf course.

From the…read moretime a few years ago when my friend and I got cussed out because the top of our crappy cart blew off and knocked the mirror off of an employee's car,(and we were in the clubhouse) to this weekend, with unmowed, unrolled dew covered, diseased greens,to the aforementioned rock hard, unlevel, weed ridden tee boxes and fairways. Then to be charged twice, once by their website and again at arrival. The owner states that they had top ratings two or three years in a row and "it's a country club quality course" give me a break! In the past, we've heard excuses about, the weather, the heat, broken irrigation pipes and on and on all while other courses within 40 miles were pristine. What could improve?? EVERYTHING! Oh, one more thing, employees showing up to work late and starting to put out carts DURING the first tee time is an easy fix! HONESTY is an easy fix. Employees saying that "they can just go somewhere else " (may have been owners) I don't know, but another review mentioned it. But Not saying those things is an easy fix.
